“This was my first visit to pick up a few things, because I was in the area. This is a well stocked neighborhood grocery store. All departments (meat, produce, dairy, canned goods, etc.) offer a good selection and fair prices. Next time I am in the area, I will make this the place to stop and shop.”

“We live very close to Azar’s and we love their halal meats, homemade hummus, wonderful selection of olives, wide variety of olive oils and inexpensive fruit and vegetables.I agree that sometimes the fruit and veggies must be eaten within 1-3 days, buts it’s often half the cost of other grocery stores. This is an International market and almost all of the employees are not American born. Sometimes they have a basic understanding of English. Typically they understand it much better than they speak it. I don’t often find them to be rude but I do understand why someone might perceive rudeness when a language barrier causes some frustration.Their flower selection in the spring and summer is great. All in all a great store with unique products and excellent prices.”

“Always like Aldi, the selection is not always the best, but what they do have is very reasonable. Most of there products are good, we just don't like their chips, etc.”

“Aldi's is a great place to shop on a budget and this particular location is near the Lehigh Valley International Airport which means that you can fly into town, take the local transit to the market on the way to the hotel which most in the area have microwave and small refrigerator in the room. Great if your traveling on a budget and have a large family to cater to. Hope this review helps you on your journey. ☺”

“Learn how to cook and cut a sheet pizza. The pizza I received was burnt and cut into 32 uneven pieces.....some big and some small and crooked. A big disappointment for my son's 10th birthday party and for the $31 I had to pay for it. This was the Easton/Nazareth store. **update** The pizza manager, Brandon, reached out to me and apologized. I appreciated that. They made me 2 pies....turned out perfect! (last 2 pictures)They also gave me a gift card too for the store. Very much appreciated! I would definitely go back to this store.”

“I tried it. They didn't have a big selection. It's one big room, about as big as an elementary school gym, not much stuff. I don't need to go there again.”

“This store is cramped but functional. Small parking lot but has lot attendants. This place has lots of great Mexican products (including pan dulce), quality produce, and a huge variety of Latin/Hispanic products. The staff is helpful and friendly.”

“The southside needed a new grocery store! Ideal Basket was long overdue. Ahart's was disgusting and the health bureau should have shut them down many years ago. The city should be ashamed of themselves for allowing Ahart's to remain open thru the years. With that, the owners of Ideal Basket gutted/remodeled the building's interior. They also added a new parking lot. They offer many Hispanic/Caribbean foods and also non-Hispanic/Caribbean items. The store is owned by the same owners as C-town on 3rd Street in Bethlehem. So it's kind of C-town however, much bigger with better parking. I visit for my meats and last minute items. I find their meats affordable and fresh. As for pricing on additional items, they are a little pricey. It is about supply and demand. I am sure if there was competition on southside with additional larger grocery stores, Ideal Basket would be more competitive in pricing. I like it's clean, they have the products, and you do not have to drive across town to grab last minute items. As for customer service, most of their employees speak English as a second language however, everyone is friendly. I think the manager's name is Emilio and I always see him helping customers. I have also noticed more cashiers that do speak English fluently. The store seems to be trying to cater to everyone from Spanish speaking to non-Spanish speaking customers.”

“I go there to buy my sofrito ingredients and other things that I can't find in other places. People always mention the odor but is not as terrible as they want to make it seem. There is a smell when you first go in the store but after you pass the entrance is gone. Cashiers are very friendly and courteous. I recommend this supermarket, they carry a whole variety of products.”
