βIf you have been to a Dollar General before you know what to expect but this one didn't have the merchandise on the floor. This place was clean, and the workers were flendly.β
βThis place is awesome and the people there are awesome as well. Nice there are still places like this. Sausage is great as are the stuffed pork chops and smoked pork chops. Steaks are cut right and delicious. Haven't been here go here...β
βI can remember going there as a child. We would visit relatives in Brownsville (Clara & Pete Christoff). We always stopped on the way there or going home to Washington, PA. I loved the smells, the samples, the food (mostly the imported Provolone Cheese!). The older folks would talk in Italian, it was magical. I hope I can visit there again. I so miss those days.(My last name is Paletta).β
βFoodland is everything what a grocery store should be and by far an improved shopping experience over Walmart. Reasonable parking for a reasonable sized neighborhood grocery store. Nothing overwhelming. Inside was well stocked, neat, clean and well organized. My interactions with staff was minimal however the woman in the meat department was friendly, enthusiastic and informative, as were the front end staff who were also friendly and cheerful.

βNew owners, the store underwent a lot of renovations but looks amazing and so much more.product.then previously. It's a little expensive, though, but it seems like that everywhere anymore. They now sell beer and have slot machines.β

βOrdered a cake for my daughter's 17th birthday (only a week in advance I might add) and Tammy in the bakery exceeded my expectations! She nailed this cake perfectly and my daughter was over the moon happy about it. Not only was it gorgeous (as you can see below) but it was absolutely DELICIOUS. I have ordered many many cakes over the years from a lot of different places but this was probably my favorite to date. I highly recommend going to see Tammy. The price was absolutely amazing as well....did I mention this is the first cake EVER in my life that was finished. Didn't throw a crumb away.β

βLocal giant eagle store. This isn't a super large store however the selection here is great. Produce is always fresh at this location and you can find what you are looking for regularly. The store is always well stocked and it's easy to come and go quickly when needed.β
βThe pharmacy staff here are pretty awesome. They are always so helpful and patient even when Iβm sure theyβre incredibly busy. All of the techs and pharmacists are quite knowledgeable and have helped me navigate insurance and other issues with ease. My prescriptions are always filled quickly and if I need something in a shorter timeframe they always do their best to accommodate. I highly recommend signing up to get text messages when your scripts are ready for pick up. It really makes the whole process quick and easy. Itβs really nice to have such a good pharmacy in our tiny town!β

Service is quick and easy, and employees know the store very well and are always happy to help you find what youβre looking for. Iβve never had a bad experience while shopping here.β

βToday I want to thank Debbie for her help, I had been to 5 other Dollar general stores looking for a slip n slide they said they had, but didn't, so I started calling other dollar general stores and she found one and held it for me. Thank you Debbie so much.β
βAs far as Dollar General is concerned, this one is fairly typical. The employees are personable and do their job without making you feel unwelcome, which is a jump up from most DG's. They need to work in recovery and stocking better. It's almost impossible to walk through the store without running into all the unpacked product waiting to be shelved. Its not super professional but it seems that most people have come to accept it as typical of these stores.β
βThe manager Woody has turned this store around.The store is clean, well-stocked, and organized. There is no clutter in the aisles.Woody ensures speedy and friendly customer service.β

βFor a small franchised store, they are expanding to include items usually found in bigger and Market District stores.The staff is friendly. The store is clean. They now have a beer and wine area, and the bakery is awesome.I couldn't ask for a better local store in the small town I live in.β
