“Wow, so much to say but honestly not one one bad thing to share, , the property Manager Marianne and her husband are gems!!!

From before we checked in and until the moment we checked out everything was great, She was so awesome, her customer service was great and hope she sticks around, we loved our exp.

this was our second stay at Camptel and we'll be back next yr as well...

This place is exactly what we needed, a place to disconnect but reconnect, be in a quiet environment where we can enjoy nature and in our case the snow, Thank you Camptel, Marianne ( your husband as well)

Hope to be back next yr if not sooner ??”

“This was our first time staying here. We got the recommendation from a friend. Our family was very pleased with everything.
We stayed in the 2br/2ba villa.
The room was extremely clean when we walked in and fresh smelling. We had plenty of towels for our 5 night stay. We didn't even have to ask for more. There is plenty of closet space to store luggage or skiis. The pantry in the kitchen is large and has plenty of room to hold your crock pot or air fryer if you want to bring them. The kitchen had a regular 12 cup coffee pot (you need to provide your own filters for it), blender and toaster as well as all the plates, cups/glasses etc. you may need. The freezer also made ice which was a plus. We did use our stovetop twice while there but found only one burner worked out of four. It wasn't a biggie for us though. We brought dish towels and sponges and we are glad we did. They do provide a dish cloth and a bottle of dish soap to wash dishes and a drain board but it's small. We used the dish towel to dry our dishes.
The showers are small but efficient. We noticed that the hot water did take a while to heat up but once it did, it was fine. I do wish they had more hooks in the bathroom. We managed though. There is plenty of space in the bedrooms. Bring your own pillows!!! The ones on the bed are flat as pancakes.
The clubhouse is great! We had a blast playing ping pong, air hockey, fooseball and billiards while we were there. The pool was quiet and relaxing and set up very lovely. There is so also a small hot tub that can fit about 3 or 4 adults. We didn't use the gym or theater while we were there. The playground needs to be cleaned and maintained a bit better. There were some lose boards and big spiderwebs but I assumed many children do not play on it often.
The area is so quiet. We saw deer on the grounds daily. You could hear some race cars on the track next door but it wasn't annoying. Overall this was a great place to stay. This is a very family friendly place to stay. If you are going to Kalahari, it's only 20 mins away and a easy route.”

“For the price, this hotel is great. LVP floors in the rooms was great - felt much cleaner than carpeted hotel rooms, the breakfast lady was particularly nice and helpful, the pet fee was very reasonable, and it’s ten minutes from the Jack Frost ski area. Yes the hotel is dated but the beds are comfortable, the towels are thick, and it was half the price of even the Holiday Inn across the street.”
