“Friday I saw a super amazing kind Veterinarian. She helped me with my Black Lab Kaycee. On Monday it was time to put Kaycee to rest. She had cancer. She was my savior, my service dog. She saved my life. There will always be a hole in my heart. All the staff there were so understanding and kind. I don't know how you all go through this regularly. God bless you all for being there for us when we need to say goodbye to our fur family.”

“This office is exceptional. They took excellent care of my small kitten who had a large hernia and needed surgery to repair it. The surgeon took extremely good care of my boy and he's doing very well now. They addressed all of my concerns and anytime I have questions they provide me with knowledgeable answers. The most important thing that makes this office stand out to me, and why I reccomend it, is the genuine care the techs and veterinarians have. They remember my kitten every time we're there, are sweet and gentle with him, treating him as if he was their own.”

“Lambs Gap came highly recommended by our family friends and upon first impressions, I could see why! Nestled away with stunning views and an open field for a nice walk before the appointment helped our pup settle from the drive in. When we entered, the front desk team greeted us by name and were so sweet to Willow. Not long after, we were escorted to an exam room. This was a new patient visit to establish care. All questions and concerns were answered and we even learned a few things regarding pet care living in a new and different environment! Thank you to everyone that made Willow feel safe and cared for! 10/10 veterinary practice!”

“My wife has been fostering kittens for a couple years now. We have been lucky with our foster kittens, but this morning one of our new foster kittens was near death. Our adult cats are seen regularly at Winding Hill, so that was our first call. They were so understanding and gracious, and asked us to bring the kitten in right away. They were able to see the kitten immediately and treated her with such care and dignity. Even though the kitten could not be saved, the staff and doctor were thorough and provided the best care possible under the circumstances. And they did not make this visit a financial burden for us either. Top notch care without charging us an arm and a leg - GREAT veterinary practice in Mechanicsburg!”

“Dr. Holly Wendell has been caring for my horses for over 15 years. She is excellent with horses and patient with their owners. She explains your horses needs and diagnosis illnesses. Dr. Wendell is caring and enjoys being a veterinarian. She is the most intelligent veterinarian I have ever known and more importantly the most compassionate.”

In fact, about a month ago, I thought my senior was struggling to pee. Any cat owner knows that's a major, immediate issue and usually costly. I called her regular vet, who didn't have anything until the next day. No issue, they're not an emergency vet. I was prepared to take her to the local ER when I thought wait, let's call Silver Springs. They got me in just a few hours later! Turns out the little turd just had an upset belly and was straining to not pee. They were able to do imaging, blood work, the whole 9 yards. The staff was incredibly polite and professional. Love them!”

I called her regular vet, who didn't have anything until the next day. No issue, they're not an emergency vet. I was prepared to take her to the local ER when I thought wait, let's call Silver Springs. They got me in just a few hours later! Turns out the little turd just had an upset belly and was straining to not pee. They were able to do imaging, blood work, the whole 9 yards. The staff was incredibly polite and professional. “I've had nothing but amazing experiences with the entire staff of Banfield Mechanicsburg specifically. I can’t speak to other locations. But I’m on a low budget and my cats are never forced any unnecessary testing, etc that breaks the bank. They are aware that when you say no thank you to let it go which a lot of vets now a days really don’t and it becomes very uncomfortable. My cat had dental surgery and they actually saved me some money by not having to take some teeth out and were able to cut some costs where appropriate for things they quoted me that didn’t turn out to be necessary which I was really pleased with. Overall when I call with questions I’m always given help not just at appointments and the staff ALWAYS returns calls if they say they will. I do wish the vet was more accessible for questions instead of questions being funneled through the vet tech on appts but really its not a big deal, it works, but if I had to critique that’d be the only change I’d make. I will keep coming back to Banfield, and drive further just to go to Mechanicsburg bc of the staff ”
