“This office is exceptional. They took excellent care of my small kitten who had a large hernia and needed surgery to repair it. The surgeon took extremely good care of my boy and he's doing very well now. They addressed all of my concerns and anytime I have questions they provide me with knowledgeable answers. The most important thing that makes this office stand out to me, and why I reccomend it, is the genuine care the techs and veterinarians have. They remember my kitten every time we're there, are sweet and gentle with him, treating him as if he was their own.”

Nestled away with stunning views and an open field for a nice walk before the appointment helped our pup settle from the drive in. When we entered, the front desk team greeted us by name and were so sweet to Willow. Not long after, we were escorted to an exam room. This was a new patient visit to establish care. All questions and concerns were answered and we even learned a few things regarding pet care living in a new and different environment! Thank you to everyone that made Willow feel safe and cared for! 10/10 veterinary practice!”

“My wife has been fostering kittens for a couple years now. We have been lucky with our foster kittens, but this morning one of our new foster kittens was near death. Our adult cats are seen regularly at Winding Hill, so that was our first call. They were so understanding and gracious, and asked us to bring the kitten in right away. They were able to see the kitten immediately and treated her with such care and dignity. Even though the kitten could not be saved, the staff and doctor were thorough and provided the best care possible under the circumstances. And they did not make this visit a financial burden for us either. Top notch care without charging us an arm and a leg - GREAT veterinary practice in Mechanicsburg!”

“I have found this to be such a good veterinary clinic. Staff at the front desk are always so friendly. Help me out for appointments, checkout, medications. Dr Gabig is just awesome, she's so detail oriented. We've been going here for last 4 years and she always treats my dog with so much attention, is very loving and provides detailed information. I have been very comfortable going to this place and would recommend this hands down to anyone.”

“Man, people don't like vets, huh? My experience with Silver Springs Animal Clinic has been great. My senior goes to Banfield but my adolescent goes to Silver Springs. He was neutered here, no issue. In fact, about a month ago, I thought my senior was struggling to pee. Any cat owner knows that's a major, immediate issue and usually costly. I called her regular vet, who didn't have anything until the next day. No issue, they're not an emergency vet. I was prepared to take her to the local ER when I thought wait, let's call Silver Springs. They got me in just a few hours later! Turns out the little turd just had an upset belly and was straining to not pee. They were able to do imaging, blood work, the whole 9 yards. The staff was incredibly polite and professional. Love them!”

“I've had nothing but amazing experiences with the entire staff of Banfield Mechanicsburg specifically. I can’t speak to other locations. But I’m on a low budget and my cats are never forced any unnecessary testing, etc that breaks the bank. They are aware that when you say no thank you to let it go which a lot of vets now a days really don’t and it becomes very uncomfortable. My cat had dental surgery and they actually saved me some money by not having to take some teeth out and were able to cut some costs where appropriate for things they quoted me that didn’t turn out to be necessary which I was really pleased with. Overall when I call with questions I’m always given help not just at appointments and the staff ALWAYS returns calls if they say they will. I do wish the vet was more accessible for questions instead of questions being funneled through the vet tech on appts but really its not a big deal, it works, but if I had to critique that’d be the only change I’d make. I will keep coming back to Banfield, and drive further just to go to Mechanicsburg bc of the staff”
