“Excellent place to take your pet. They treated me and my 15 year old cat very well, and everyone was friendly. Vet did not try to push any unnecessary tests on me. I told them i didnt have much money and they were respectful of that. They were upfront about everything and transparent about prices. I think their prices are very fair and reasonable. “This office is exceptional. They took excellent care of my small kitten who had a large hernia and needed surgery to repair it. The surgeon took extremely good care of my boy and he's doing very well now. They addressed all of my concerns and anytime I have questions they provide me with knowledgeable answers. The most important thing that makes this office stand out to me, and why I reccomend it, is the genuine care the techs and veterinarians have. They remember my kitten every time we're there, are sweet and gentle with him, treating him as if he was their own.”

“Friday I saw a super amazing kind Veterinarian. She helped me with my Black Lab Kaycee. On Monday it was time to put Kaycee to rest. She had cancer. She was my savior, my service dog. “I can not tell you how much love and care Dr Fisher and the staff showed our Macbeth while his health started failing him. On his final couple of days the amount of love and compassion they showed Mac and to Carl and I during this time. It is something that most veterinarians would not do.
On his final day he was hurting so badly that he would not let us help him get in the car. Dr Fisher came over on her lunch break and euthanized him. It was so sad. But we really can not express enough how wonderful Dr Fisher and her staff are. Thank you from the bottom of our heart.”

“Dr. Holly Wendell has been caring for my horses for over 15 years. She is excellent with horses and patient with their owners. She explains your horses needs and diagnosis illnesses. Dr. Wendell is caring and enjoys being a veterinarian. She is the most intelligent veterinarian I have ever known and more importantly the most compassionate.”
“I've had nothing but amazing experiences with the entire staff of Banfield Mechanicsburg specifically. I can’t speak to other locations. But I’m on a low budget and my cats are never forced any unnecessary testing, etc that breaks the bank. They are aware that when you say no thank you to let it go which a lot of vets now a days really don’t and it becomes very uncomfortable. My cat had dental surgery and they actually saved me some money by not having to take some teeth out and were able to cut some costs where appropriate for things they quoted me that didn’t turn out to be necessary which I was really pleased with. Overall when I call with questions I’m always given help not just at appointments and the staff ALWAYS returns calls if they say they will. I do wish the vet was more accessible for questions instead of questions being funneled through the vet tech on appts but really its not a big deal, it works, but if I had to critique that’d be the only change I’d make. I will keep coming back to Banfield, and drive further just to go to Mechanicsburg bc of the staff ”
“Dr. Stern was incredibly helpful with my dachshund, who was suffering from back problems caused by IVDD. When I first brought him to her office, it was the second time his back had gone out, but this time he was completely unable to walk.
We tried medications, crate rest, and laser therapy, but unfortunately, nothing was working this time. After meeting with Dr. Stern, she performed VOM and several sessions of acupuncture—probably around 20 sessions in total. The treatments made a huge difference! After seeing her for a couple of months, he was able to walk again.
The treatments were definitely pricey, but they were worth every penny to see him walking again and feeling better. I also want to mention Roxanne, who was always so kind and helpful whenever I called or came into the office. She was wonderful to work with.
I highly recommend Dr. Stern and her office to anyone looking for help with a pet suffering from IVDD or other mobility issues. I am so grateful for everything they did for my dog!”
