“Lots of parking, well stocked shelves, always clean, they have self checkout now. I mean it's an Aldi, stuff is cheap and the quality is decent, always a good place!”

“I choose to support Golden Dawn because they are a small business and not a corporation. We always buy their meats then other things. They do try their best to please customers and they have been, even with the new owners. Prices are to be expected a little higher than bargain-off brand grocery stores. I call verona giant eagle and a peppy voice answered the phone here name was Jessica she went and looked for me she said they had 6 I asked her could she hold 2 foe for me would be there in 45 min.she said they would be service desk.she was very thoughtful didn't want them to sir out put in cooler in front of store.SHE WENT ABOVE AND BEYOND AND PUT UP THE PHONE DIDNT HAVE TO PRESS THIS I R THAT THANK YOU JESSICA U MADE MY HUSBANDS DAY!!!!”
“Great prices and selection of products. I hate grocery shopping but this location has a Starbucks so it makes it much manageable. However I was there to get a small amount of dog food.lllll However, I guess you no longer have baskets .....covid maybe?? After searching around for a small cart or basket I ended up carrying 6 packs of dog food thru the store with a full coffee. Not an easy task. Then I had to wait in line for ever including the u-scan. If baskets are to hard to clean maybe give out bags or something like that. It was very difficult.”

“Phones were ringing, and the employee just stayed at the door, holding the door open, letting all the cold air in, and smoking. It's very annoying listening to a phone ring that may have been a sale of the day.”
“As much as the newer owners try to make this place like a superchain supermarket, it falls flat.The prices are hiked too much. The new owners know that they depend on residents of the town that can't get to other stores, dollar general, family dollar, dollar tree, etc.So this place knows that they can upcharge, because the residents of this town, mainly the elderly population that can't drive or have any other means to get their necessities, will have no other choice but to come here.The employees are wonderful, except Gloria. She's a, well, she's a, See You Next Tuesday, yet for some reason, she's still employed after so many complaints have been lodged against her. I'm not sure.But I digress, honestly, I wouldn't recommend this place if you can help it and that's just fair.I went in for a box of toaster strudels and paid 2x the cost of what I would've paid at giant eagle.It's just not worth it unless you're purchasing tobacco products which are at state level requirements.”
“The icing that comes from this place is the best that I have ever had! I went to middle school and high school here. I moved around but every time I come home, I have to get cake from shop and save Russellton.”

People who were using the regular checkouts and people using the self checkouts were both in the same line. It got backed up besause the couple people in the front of the line were using the regular checkouts and no one else knew that they could go use the EMPTY self checkout lines.”

“This is a great miniature sized market. You can find all of the essentials here, not just your typical convenience store fare. Today I got the sushi, and boy was it fresh! I will definitely be returning here and suggest if you're in the area that you do too! Too! Very close to the Harmar exit of the Pennsylvania Turnpike and Route 28 just north of Pittsburgh.”
“Friendly overwhelmed associates. Come on Dollar General, hire at least one stock person per store. They should do NOTHING but stocking shelves. In addition to a stock person, be sure to have a cashier to check out the customers only. Could be considered an attempt to cut down on the "millions" of complaints about aisles being constantly overflowing with product, at EVERY store. It's really not that hard to figure out. Get back to caring about customer satisfaction and do something about this major issue. EDIT 1/2/23: Over the last few months, I've noticed more help at this location. Store doesn't have the blocked aisles as it's had in the past. One suggestion, bring out one or two carts of products from the truck at a time. Try not to bring the majority of them in from loading dock resulting in clogged aisles. Great job ladies, thank you!”

“Everything! I especially like the Dollar General right next to the new Kensington bridge. They are always stocked And always have what I need. Another thing nice about this Store is that everything is always fresh, which is a major plus! I would rather go to Dollar General because it is easy to maneuver around unlike Walmart where you have to walk a mile to get from one end of the store to the other. Kudos Dollar General.”

“I’ve shopped at a lot of Walmarts but I have to say this is my favorite. My curbside pickup and home delivery orders are always accurate. And if items are out of stock, they give me plenty of time to select substitutions before completing my order. And I’ve had
great experiences at the bakery and deli as well. Recently, I ordered food from the deli for a graduation party. Due to a supplier issue, they were unable to provide the chicken we had ordered. But they went above and beyond to make it right and made sure no one went hungry at our party.”

“This place has a fresh great tasting fruit and produce. I shopped here for over 30 years. I buy from them as much as i can. I lived in blawnox and went here to buy everything i need because the product at the larger commercial stores is not any good. I was there yesterday. The staff are great. They are knowledgeable about what they sell and pleasant to be around. I talked with the owner's son about a product called Sorgrum which piqued his intrest, and he wanted to know more. They also support local businesses such as Russleton honey makers. If you want fresh produce, i recommend John & Jerry's produce”
