“This particular store is the only place I got when purchasing running shoes. The service is spectacular, the team caring and knowledgable. I am from out of town and plan trips to the store when visiting family. I usually purchase 2-3 pairs at a time and have not had an injury since my training volume has increased. Only place I will go for running shoes. Ever.”
“Great shop, they know about lacrosse, very helpful to get right gear. They are there if any issues occur. Don't go to Dicks or Amazon, support a great local company.”
“After doing a lot of research on golf club fitters, I found the amazing folks at Golf Specialtees. Ray, Aaron, and Chris were very knowledgeable in all aspects during my experience with the team. Pricing, fitting, swing suggestions / tutorials were all spot on and fair, and zero pressure or push for any manufacturer(s). Drove from Morgantown, WV to see these folks and I wouldn't hesitate to recommend them to friend or foe. Now the hard part....waiting ~ 3 weeks for Mizuno to send out the JPX 925's.”
“Great store and franchise. Just beware of the team packs of cards. We bought a Pirates pack and out of the 20 cards only 4 players were still on the team. 👀👀”
“I needed to buy my first running shoes, and all of my runner friends recommended this place. The guy was friendly and knowledgeable. He did an imprint of my feet to see where I put the most pressure, then got a couple of recommended shoes to try and watched my gait before and after trying them on. I ended up with a pair that was very comfortable and supportive for my flat feet. I think my only complaint is the lack of colour options in-store. They said they could order different ones, I just happened to want them ASAP. So if I want prettier shoes next time, I'll just try to plan ahead haha.”

“Great shop! Friendly and very knowledgeable staff, and great range of rackets available for demo and purchase. Will and Drew were great and always helpful and patient, even when the shop was crazy busy. Will found the perfect shoes for my hard-to-fit feet, and I ended up buying TWO rackets! Highly recommend.”
“Dan and Dominic run a first class operation at this store, which is the best sports memorabilia shop in the Burgh. Can’t say enough about how great they were with me offloading my collection of over 30 years of items, I will definitely be coming back to this shop again and again in the future!!!”
“This is my absolute favorite place to order my Terrible Towel merch! I just love this company and Keck is just amazing!! Highly recommend! 5 Star service!!!
Thanks, Kimmie from Florida by way of Pittsburgh”
“Black & Gold everywhere you look as soon as you walk through the door. I wanted to make the traditional Pirates hat into something unique. Black & Gold forever. Everyone should check it out. You can just go for yourself!(~);}”

“Hometowne Sports is an absolute gem in Pittsburgh! If you’re a local sports fan, this place is basically paradise. They have an unbelievable selection of gear, literally everything you could ever dream of wearing or owning to support Pittsburgh teams. But honestly, as amazing as the inventory is, the best part of our visit was Frank and his family. They were so incredibly kind and welcoming to us, and they really go out of their way to make you feel right at home. The store is fantastic, but that genuine, warm hospitality is exactly what will keep us coming back.
We can't recommend this place enough!”
“First time customer. I was there with my three year old who needed her first pair of ballet & tap shoes and other gear. Chelsea was super helpful in pointing me in the right directions for things. Everyone was very nice. The rewards program was a nice surprise. I’ll definitely be back!”
“I was wondering how old does an autograph have to be to be considered vintage i saw the response from 2 months ago about you guys buying memorabilia so was curious. Would come with matching COA from a major authenticator like PSA, beckett, or JSA. I have alot of autographed memorabilia all certified authentic from different sports, such as Dante hall jerseys and football, lesean Mccoy, Bill "mad dog" Madlock & a few pens jerseys, since we're in pittsburgh and alot more. I'm looking to downsize my collection as I rotate the man cave out depending on the season. The autographs are in great shape (never exposed to direct sunlight and in non humid places).”
“⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
I walked into the Steelers Pro Shop “just to look” and walked out dressed like I’m on the active roster. Coincidence? I think not.
This place has everything! ! Jerseys, hats, hoodies, gear I didn’t know existed but suddenly needed. The staff was super friendly and didn’t judge me when I said, “I’m only buying one thing” (a blatant lie).
If you’re a Steelers fan, enter at your own risk. Your wallet may take a hit, but your black-and-gold drip will be elite. 10/10 would financially recover again. ???”
“They have a very clean store and there are some decent tennis shoes there. They do have very good deals from time to time on certainly shoes. Like a bogo 1/2 off sale. As far as boots, dress shoes and other styles, they have a very basic selection that are popular at the time of sale. Also they do have work shoes and benches for you to sit down at, they could definitely use a few more mirrors though. I was unable to locate the little nylon peds at the time.”
“For all your tee-shirt needs for fundraiser, team logos, etc this is the place to go..Mr Eric does top quality work and his rates are very reasonable....Highly recommended”
“Stopped in to buy some local gear while visiting town. The owners were so incredibly friendly and helpful. Will definitely be our go to spot when in Pittsburgh from now on.”
“Just wanted to take a minute and say “thank you” to Patagonia team (and Sarah) and company as a whole. We’ve had such great experiences with the staff helping us with kids’ outerwear. I have two sons both at which one point or another have lost coats/inner liner of a coat and/or damaged a coat that needed repaired. They have always gone above and beyond to make it easy for us to replace a coat or get one in our hands asap so my kids have what they need during the cold season. It keeps us coming back year after year because I know if anything happens, they have our back! Thank you Patagonia for caring about humans and not just profit ?”
“Dunhams gets 5 stars simply for having a broad selection of sporting goods available to purchase. I had gone to Dick's next door to pick up an extra PFD before I went to go paddle on the river that is literally next door to this plaza. Dicks did not have ANY water sports equipment or supplies. Absurd. Dunhams was well stocked with what I needed, and presumably a good selection for what others could possibly want. I will absolutely be back here before I go back to Golf Galaxy 2.0.”
“Knowledgeable, friendly staff. Had a good selection of shoes, including a variety of brands in extra wide (4E) sizing. Prices were comparable (about the same) as big box retailers, even gave $20 off for a birthday discount.”
“Something for every sports fan of Pittsburgh teams. This store is jam packed with items ranging from matchbox size jeeps to cups, grill covers, flags, and of course clothing. Very friendly and helpful staff.”
“I recently bought a pickleball paddle from Gamma Sports and was pleased with their service. The staff was knowledgeable and helped me select a paddle that fit my playing style. They had a good selection of high-quality equipment. Overall, I recommend Gamma Sports to pickleball players looking for reliable service and gear”

“The bike department at REI in Pittsburgh was phenomenal with helping me out after completing the GAP/C&O trails. I called the store one month prior and asked if REI could set aside a couple bike boxes, so I could fly home. The task got done with a smile. Thank You, Ryan”
“I admit I've never actually played here. But it looks like a beautiful facility nice and local. I have gotten donations of tennis balls for different things many times and everyone is always very nice there. Thank you.”
“Very helpful gentleman in the firearms department. Dunham's had a fair price due to a sale. This is the second firearm purchased from Dunham's, and both times they had the best price.”
“I love the two different options for a game day puck! A lot of nice penguins merch including patches for my bag! (Which were hard to find any at all in the city)
I recommend coming early to the game if ur interested in looking around the store because it gets crowded really fast and it doesn’t stop. I got there right when they opened the doors for the game and it was shoulder to shoulder.”

“First off, this store is truly a boutique. If you are expecting to go in there and see piles of merch, then you need to head to the strip. This place is selling premium quality, limited run, 412 themed clothing and accessories. The store is laid out to be very clean and aesthetic to help shoppers truly see the quality and craftsmanship of the items. When you do find something that you like, you can ask the person working at the cash register about sizing and color options. It's a very chill store, with a very chill vibe. The last time I visited, we met an amazing rep that helped us out and sold me some absolutely stunning and surprising goods.”
“Famous brands in cheap prices. The lady staff was so helpful and provides a wonderful customer service. We went there yesterday for my kids shoes. I like to recommend people to go there.”
“We don’t live in Pittsburgh. So we have to do on line shopping. I love the prices. It a great website to order from. We where in Pittsburgh in January and did stop in the and bought some shirts and a sweatshirt earrings.”
