“We purchased a new home earlier this year that had a combined family, dining, and kitchen space and were unsure where to start with putting together a cohesive design plan. We had spent an entire day picking out a dining room table and didn’t know how to build around it. We met Rylie Roberts at Ethan Allen and explained our situation. She asked a lot of questions to get a feel for our likes and dislikes and then crafted an entire floor plan to pull the space together. She walked us through all of the different choices and listened patiently to our reaction and suggested alternatives. She even offered additional appointments so that we could get comfortable will all of the selections which we took her up on.
We felt confident with her design and moved forward by placing the order. The process was seamless and she worked with us on the timing of our new construction so that we could ensure delivery soon after we settled. She communicated with us frequently to keep us up to date on the status. The result is exactly what we were looking for and balances comfort and style. She visited our home to see everything in the space and helped make adjustments and suggestions for the future.
I cannot overstate the peace of mind we had in entrusting her with the most important space in our house. Rylie was personable, professional, patient, and has a keen ear for listening and an eye for design. We were so impressed with her work that we engaged her services for additional rooms. Not only did Kazan ( the owner) spend plenty of time going over our options, he chose great looking fixtures which were delivered earlier than promised. When I came time for the installation, I contacted him with questions from our electricians. He answered the questions and emailed me instruction sheets for the electricians to use. “The little area in Ambler where Antique Garden Cottage is located was such a sweet surprise ~ nestled among a few other shops ~ with a very large parking lot behind the stores ~ this seems to be a popular spot as the lot was consistently full. From the moment we entered the Cottage, it instantly became a favorite ~ everything was beyond gorgeous. The displays are breathtaking ~ filled with all things beautiful. Soaps, jewelry, faux flowers, home decor... it is most definitely a haven for gift giving. The quality of these stunning offerings are certainly worth their reasonable prices. Alison was so helpful, kind, and helped me find so many dresses to try on, including my dream dress. They have so many styles and can accomodate any price range! I did not buy my dress that day and wanted to sleep on it- which was encouraged by Alison, which is wonderful that there was no pushy salesperson attitude. They truly want you to think through your big purchase and make sure you pick what you love.
A week later, I reached out wanting to try on the dress again before purchasing- they were able to fit me in, and I ordered the dress that day. It came directly to my house a few days later. Highly recommend!”
