“I’ve been coming to The Point at Carlisle Plaza for roughly three decades, since I was around 10 years old, back when this shopping center was actually thriving, so there’s definitely some nostalgia walking through here.

These days, a lot of the plaza sits vacant, but Dunham’s is honestly one of the anchor stores helping keep this place alive, and after this visit, it’s easy to see why.

If you’ve never been inside this location, don’t assume it’s just a small sporting goods store.

This place is surprisingly packed with inventory across a huge range of categories. On this visit alone I walked through departments for footwear, athletic apparel, fitness equipment, dumbbells, kettlebells, treadmills, golf clubs and accessories, fishing gear, hunting gear, firearms, ammunition, archery, safes, tactical apparel, YETI drinkware, Owala bottles, Black Rifle Coffee products, coolers, cornhole sets, kayaks, paddle gear, boots, kids sports equipment, sunglasses, bags, and more.

The biggest thing that stood out to me was how clean, organized, and well lit the store is.

For the amount of inventory they carry, it never felt cluttered or chaotic. Departments are clearly laid out, aisles are easy to navigate, and it’s actually simple to find what you’re looking for even if you’re just browsing.

That matters.

We checked out with Rudy, who was excellent. Friendly, efficient, and professional. The other team members we interacted with were also helpful without hovering or being pushy, which I appreciate.

One constructive note, because first impressions matter:

The exterior Dunham’s storefront sign needs attention. Several letters/lights are burned out, and when your business name is the very first thing customers see, that should be top priority. The inside experience says clean, organized, and professionally run. The exterior branding should match that same standard.

That said, this is still an easy 5 star review.

If you’re in the Carlisle area and need sporting goods, fitness gear, fishing equipment, hunting supplies, footwear, or outdoor recreation products, this location is absolutely worth the stop.”
