“Nice place for fresh meat. They ve fish, but it is rarely available. They stock meat on Thursdays. The store also has a wide variety of spices and daily cooking items.”
“I was having my car towed to a shop to have it repaired and the AAA driver who was Towing my car spoke about this store I don't want to pronounce the name because I don't want to mess it up but this Market was everything that the driver said it was and what the driver said was that they had the best sandwiches well I was hungry one day and as I passed the store I decided to make a short left turn park my car and then throw off into that facility oh boy am I glad I did I got an Italian sub sandwich and I have to tell you this homemade sandwich that they put together was just awesome it was so delicious and to add a topping to that they had homemade pastries and I purchase chocolate chip cookies and their peanut butter cookies were to die for why do I say that because I'm a peanut butter cookie crazy woman I love peanut butter cookies so if you're ever in the area stop off at the family store it's a modest Market and they have beautiful fruit also it is well worth the efforts and the husband and wife couple that runs it they are so friendly so kind and attentive they definitely will see me again and probably again and again thank you”
“Insane quality of meat and service. Beef cuts that you won’t find in any store. In house made hot food, sausages and cold cuts. Corned beef is chefs kiss. Every single one of the butchers are knowledgeable and ready to help if you have questions. Fresh beef every Thursday.”

“Some great tacos and interesting grocery. Stop here when in the area for some of the best tacos. Pay inside and order outside. There is area to choose ur toppings and salsa. Some picnic tables and friendly others enjoying their tacos. If in the neighborhood be sure to stop and enjoy.”
“Best place to buy different meat cuts in the city ( in my opinion). They have all kinds of meats that are reasonably priced. The cost of meat is up, so it is expensive, but if you buy in bulk, this is a great location to shop to get 10+ lbs ground beef, large quantity of wings, burgers, bacon, etc.
Parking is scarce. You may have to find a spot around the corner, up the street, or in a paid parking lot to get to the store but I think its worth it.
Staff is ok. I didnt have the best experience today while purchasing my meats, but it could have been because it was very busy. Best to go earlier in the morning for more parking options and less shoppers so you have a good experience.
Clean place, smells like raw meat ( of course lol) but definitely would recommend”
“Their hours make it really difficult for me to ever make it over there. I wish they were open later than 4pm at least one weekday so I could stop by on my way home from work. Great selection tho”

“Excellent fresh cut meats! They also have a very small grocery section, and cold beverages. Prices are a bit high on their grocery items, there but they're not buying them in bulk, so their price to purchase and stock them are higher as well.”

I don't care for their new pick up policy either. They choose where you pick your merchandise up.”
“Walked into Parma Meats last month when I had to return to the Burgh for a funeral. Bought 3 Sopressa sticks, two as Christmas gifts...yeah they didn't last long enough to wrap!
The Soppressa was the best I have tasted since my family used to make it many years ago!
I just placed another order for 8 more and shipping them to my home in South Carolina.

Not only do they have a “decent” selection in the isles. But, as for me, it’s more about what they sell from behind the counter that counts…lol ???️
But, it is true that the 8am opening time could be a bit more on point than it has been. Especially because the cashier lives right across the street.
However, I like to hit the ? snooze too.”

“Mekkah Shop is very clean, and their meat is always fresh. They take great care when cutting the meat and use clean, hygienic machines. The products come from different countries, which meet the expectations of diverse customers. The staff are polite, well-mannered, and very helpful. They also sell some fresh vegetables and fruits that I can’t find in other stores.”
