“Something for everyone . If you haven’t visited recently, you should check it out again - much improved. Accessing can be a little tricky now because of construction on Castle Shannon Blvd., but its worth the trip.”

“Such a wonderful store! Authentic and alluring - in all the best ways. Also reasonable! Better than any of the shops they are inspired by from New Orleans, in fact. And the back room, The Speakeasy, is absolutely breathtaking- the real deal!!”

“this store is my new favorite! i’ve only been here twice and each time i’ve found absolute treasures. not to mention, the company itself is founded on love for the community. i walked in yesterday and was greeted by the owner, Stephanie. and as i was walking around with my daughter and mother-in-law, i noticed they were playing Christian music on the overhead speakers . i felt the love of Christ here, and it’s a rarity nowadays to be in a small business that deeply shows genuine love and compassion for people and their needs. thank you Simply You!!”

“Harlan and Sunny are the best!! They offer great quality repairs and the most unusual and high quality jewelry in the area. Some hand crafted by Harlan himself. I'm glad I found them a few years back. They are my go to jewelry place”

“We don’t live in the area (about 20 min away on a good day). When in area we always stop in. Never ever left empty handed. The rooms are like little caves of treasures. You have to look in all angles and nooks and heights. Prices are great. Quality is great. Staff are so nice! Takes cash or card. Parking gets tricky, but just park at the bank if uncomfortable with the tight fit. Worth the trip. You’ll come back again and again.”

“I absolutely love Retro on 8th! Popped in for the first time today and was incredibly, pleasantly surprised by the impressive selection. This is the kind of store I actively look for. It's perfectly curated, and is the kind of place you where you can make several passes and see something new every single time. Prices are fair. Quality is unsurpassed. Bought two Barcelona chairs and I could not be happier.”

“Lovey antique shop right outside of pittsburgh. WOW, was I impressed. Not only were the associates beyond helpful, they are quick to act. I found two items without prices and immediately the associate contacted the vendor. I was able to leave with both items that day for an awesome price. If you thrift, the average place will not sell you anything without a price tag. Not only will this store follow-up with its vendors, but they knew each one of them by name. That was so meaningful. As a vendor, you are generally overlooked and just a “number” for the business. My experience here really embraced the family feel and I am so happy I stopped. This will be a go to for me for years to come. 10/10!”

“I love this antique store, lots of good stuff to look through. My favorite time to visit is before Christmas, lots of vendors here sell the antique bulbs which is something I hunt for year round. Prices are a little higher than other nearby places, but if you know what you're looking for and the value of it, this is a great place to find treasure. Staff are always very kind and accommodating.”

“We have really enjoyed all of our trips to Artifacts. The inventory is awesome, and the prices are very fair. When we go for 3 hours seems like 15 minutes, because of the fantastic selection of items to choose!! You will be stimulated by all of the different room setups, which in turn will give you great ideas for your home or work.”

“Le Mix is a really fun place to walk around. The artistry in how things are displayed give me take home ideas for my own home. It has a lot of really interesting finds. I love the glassware and kitchenware in the back. There is a lower level as well. The light fixtures would be worth investing in too. They have cameras, super 8s, vintage everything, art.”

“We can't say enough good thing about Antiques on Washington! We now own 6 pieces from this shop! Over the past 4 months we have purchased a farm table and chairs, sideboard, bar, console table, workbench (for in the kitchen), and card catalog to fill our new home. The sideboard and bar were custom pieces designed and created specifically for us. The process was amazing and the workmanship even better. Bert and Susie are great people and we will definitely be using them for our future furniture needs.”

“I like this antique store a lot, always a good dig. I always come here before Christmas to hunt for old, pink bulbs. Most prices are reasonable, but some booths are pricier than others. Sometimes there are sales throughout the whole store which is a bonus. I've found some amazing stuff here over the years, including snowflake pyrex which my dad collects. Some parts of the store are so crowded it is hard to walk though.”

“I love this place, definitely a lot of cool stuff and different booths to scour through. I love looking at the old jewelry and the 2000s toys. Most booths are pretty organized. I did end up with a few pairs of earrings and a S&P set. I'll definitely be back before Christmas to hunt for my famous pink bulbs.”

“I came here to try and have a clock motor fixed. While Gannon was unable to fix it he directed me to someone else. Super nice guy and if I had a lamp that needed to be repaired I would bring it here.”

“So delighted that I wondered into Scribe. This shop has the most exquisite and unique pieces of art and stationary. I purchased a Bernard Maisner lacquer box with a dragon and a gorgeous orange plate with gold cheshire cat. The stationary...especially from Maisner is beautiful and nowhere else to be found in Pittsburgh. Sara's taste is exceptional!”

“What a treat for the eyes and soal, the building is a visual adventure, the items inside are a treasure hunt. The staff are pleasent and the prices are right around what you would expect for good quality antiques. Will be back for sure.”

“Sara helped me find my new favourite notebooks ever. Not only is she super knowledgeable about her stock, she carries a nice variety of price points, and was able to recommend a dotted (!!) notebook with nice enough paper that fountain pen ink didn’t bleed through (!!) which I have NEVER been able to find. PLUS numbered pages. The entire shop is so beautiful and has so many useful and beautiful things for anyone who enjoys stationary or knows someone who does. Going to get all my notebooks from here going forward, Moleskine and Leuchtturm can’t compare”

“This store is an awesome experience, the owner is a true expert. It feels like the Sports World Hall of Fame in there, literally a library of legendary cards, jerseys, balls, artifacts, you name it. I sold a few signed & authenticated items in really good condition (helmets, a jersey, a stadium seat) and had some really fair, courteous, well-informed, and truthfully just overall fun negotiations with the owner Dan who is a real stand-up guy. I had some unique/less common items I was selling, and with some combined research of the current market, we reached a consensus on the estimated value. I give this place my highest recommendation based on my experience! It will be my new go-to spot for buying birthday, Christmas, and father's day gifts 100%”
