“A little gem of an independent bookstore in Allentown, PA. The atmosphere is great, very welcoming. You can find all kind of genres there. The little kids I see love it too.
iEveryone working there is very nice and ready to answer all your questions.”
“This is hands down my favorite bookstore in the Lehigh Valley. They have an incredible selection for excellent prices. The mother-daughter duo who own the store are 2 of the kindest people you’ll ever meet. Cannot recommend this small business enough!”
“I absolutely love this bookstore! The staff are always nice, always talkative, there's always new books when I walk in, and the separate rooms for different ages is awesome! There's two cats, and Bernie loves attention and likes to be held sometimes. They even have a free little library in their side alley that is always stacked full of books!”
“This bookstore is amazing. I had a question about something I found in a storage unit, and the owner took his time over a two day period to give me his thoughts about what I found. Top notch service!”
“I’ve been to a few comic book stores around the valley and this place is a dream come true. The collection consists of an extensive variety where you’ll be able to find something for everyone of all ages and if not the owner is pretty good on ordering issues to your liking. Overall, it’s a good vibe, tons of comics and toys, and many gems just waiting to be added to your collection!”
“I am and always will be a fan of Barns & Noble. It's the only bookstore I know of where I can browse through books and enjoy a cup of coffee at the same time!”
“What a hidden gem! I could spend hours there! Very helpful and kind owners and staff! I found just what I was looking for and more! Can’t wait to finish reading my books and come back for more! There’s beautiful artwork, jewelry, books, devotions and gifts!”
“It's an amazing place! They carry beautiful editions of books and have great merch, and the person in charge is really kind and provided useful support and recommendations.”
“I love the quality of the books at Mecca books, and it's quality of customer service. I recommend them often for any brother or sister looking for good books to add to thier shelves.”
“This bookstore is so much better (and bigger) than other college bookstores. The staff are so friendly, approachable, and knowledgeable. The merchandise is top quality...and they have so much! This is the place for alumni and anyone who is a fan of Muhlenberg sports!”
“What a cool bookstore! It has all of the things you need when visiting. Lots of branded everything. Store was very empty early Monday afternoon, no one came around to ask if we needed help. Which I’m not complaining about. Still use plastic bags.”

“Going through my first semester now. Classes and teachers I have had so far are absolutely amazing and helpful. I really enjoy it. Highly recommend making appointments with your advisor as soon as possible to register for classes. I have had trouble with that and had to go to the walk-in service. There is one advisor in the admissions office who is an older blonde lady. I have dealt with her twice so far and she's just awful. I don't know if she truly hates her job, but it is like I am bothering her every time I go there. She talks over me and doesn't listen to my needs. She gets frustrated easily and speaks to me like I am in elementary school. She might as well just called me stupid because that's how I felt leaving the office. I'm ultimately going to have to rearrange my schedule on my own because she didn't listen to me at all and my schedule is nothing that I want it to be. I don't even know what to do. I wonder if anyone else has had the same experience with this advisor.”
“I really like going here. They sell a mixture of gently used and new stuff. Additonally if you have some gently used stuff to sell they will give you an offer while you walk around. Offers are reasonable. Its a lot better than going to BN for books and things as they typically sell the same stuff and their prices are better. .”
“We were on the hunt for journals and fountain pens! Found both but Blicks had more fountain pens. The ones at Barnes and Nobles were up front hanging. The employees didnt know they had them. Which is fine. There is so much in the store, it's fun to look around and discover. Also the Harry Potter section is HUGE! Loved it!”
