“My wife and I love to stop here to see what new and exciting things they have for sale. The store is clean and the staff is always helpful. I don't always buy something when we stop, but I look forward to the visit. My only ding is pricing on certain items can be a bit much.”

“Brooks Brothers is a luxury brand, period. And I think because of this, if an experience doesn’t go perfectly people may be quick to leave a terrible review. I think it is irresponsible to quickly leave a bad review without trying to seek resolution from somebody in charge. I am guilty of this. This store is one of the biggest and most well stocked Brooks Brothers in their chain, and I wish they were closer to me because I would shop there all the time. Even living 100 miles away, I still make the trip there once in a while because I would prefer to buy in person than online if possible, especially with clothes. I did have a not so great experience at the store one of the times I was there. Instead of asking for the manager or even calling back the next day, I complained to corporate about the experience. Not only did corporate go out of their way to make the situation right and compensate me in the form of reward points (probably three times more than was necessary), Judy the manager called me and personally listened to my long boring story about the problem and compensated me as well. She also went on to apologize for the individual situation that I had and by the end of it, I realized I was probably being silly. It was also unfair of me to not inform her and go right to corporate. As for the clothing, I feel that for the level of quality the price point is right on, and like with any clothing brand you really should avoid buying anything unless it’s on some sort of sale. Brooks Brothers is like any other clothing store in that they often have really good deals. If you look for them, you can get high-quality stuff at the same price you would probably pay at a lower tier “fast fashion“ retailer.”
Primark added two states to its U.S. map in six days, then stalled in Augusta. The value retailer opened its first Minnesota store on Sept. 3 at Mall of America in Bloomington, close to 35,000 square feet stocked with Minnesota Vikings gear through the chain's NFL partnership. That store was its 46th in the country and put Primark in 15 states. Georgia came five days later. Doors opened at 11 a.m. on Sept. 8 at Sugarloaf Mills in Lawrenceville, northeast of Atlanta, with more than 26,000 square feet of selling space and Atlanta Falcons and Atlanta Hawks apparel starting at $16. That made 47 U.S. stores.

L.L. Bean, the Maine-based retailer famous for its boots and backpacks, is opening four new U.S. stores this year and plans to expand into the Southeast and Midwest markets in 2025. The company had a grand opening of an Ulster, NY store in April. The other three locations are coming to Pennsylvania, Indiana, and Connecticut this fall.
