All of the little rooms were so historic and beautiful. The events coordinator really transformed the space. They got married in the ruins, which minus the bugs, it was beautiful even on a rainy misty day. Really beautiful place!”

The cabins are not climate controlled, and the beds are not comfortable for adult-sized bodies BUT that has become part of the experience of the camp. It is a special place that I look forward to return to each fall.”

“We used The Farmhouse at Peoples light for our September wedding, and they went above and beyond.Not only was food delicious, but they exceeded my expectations for my day. They went above and beyond with setting up any décor I provided, as well as adding additional touches like votive candles, etc.Richard and Dawn were very warm and inviting throughout the entire planning process, and open to answering any questions I may have had. After our day came and went, Dawn and Richard provided us with a personal touch gift drawing of the restaurant to frame and hang up. So thoughtful.Our day went off without any problems, and they were very accommodating in regards to weather changes and options as well.I would recommend using them for your wedding venue.”

“My friend and I went for a walk. Part of the path is under shade and the other part is sunny. Part of the path has some incline, which was a little harder for my friend who was using a cane, but we did like that the path was not all cement but gravel which is easier on her knees. Beautiful area for a picnic and they do have a grill and area to sit plus a community garden to admire. The best thing is it wasn't crowded at all!”

“We sat on the deck so we could look at the beautiful scenery and watch the golfers try to hit the green. We’ve had the same waitress three times now and she has been great every time. All of our food was delicious including the filets which were cooked to perfection! This is one of our favorite restaurants in the area.Wheelchair accessibility: Handicap parking is close and the walkway to both the restaurant and the deck are easy to maneuver.”

There’s also a classic Irish pub that serves comfort food done well with local draft beers, a diverse list of spirits and both venues offer excellent service, wine list featuring old and new world wines while dining in comfort.I worked here as a teenager and have never stopped going. This is where we go to stay and eat for most special occasions. I highly recommend brunch, dinner, Happy Hour and the deck when weather heats up. They all go out of their way to make you feel welcomed and special. Jacqueline is a super sweet lady who keeps her word,, I'm glad we met her. But the star of the hotel is a fine young gentleman named Chris. His parents raised a fine young gentleman who must be very proud of him. Super nice guy, always upbeat and friendly, courteous and polite, professional, knowledgeable and patient as all heck! Smiling big thinking about his patience! Treated us with such respect. He explained things thoroughly.. And no matter how many times we bothered him, he never wavered.. He was just as polite, friendly, courteous and respectful as he always was. Chris is absolutely an asset and definitely a keeper... Any company would be lucky to have Chris as a part of their team. Truly a remarkable young man and employee!! Thank you to all staff for making our stay a very pleasant one!!Very clean hotel too.. Rooms are veyr clean and smell so pretty when you walk in.. Very welcoming. Housekeeping does a terrific job cleaning. Beds are soft and SO comfortable, it was like sleeping on a cloud! Pillows too were so soft and comy and they actually fit the size of the bed, King size pillows! Great night sleep! Great location and close to major highways, shopping and restaurants. A must stay! Breakfast was very good too and Brandon from room service is also a very nice friendly guy who went out of his way to help us. Barb at the restaurant is also a super friendly woman who actually brought menus up to our room, so we didn't have to come down.. Super nice lady. Then there is the maintenance guy who took the lock off our window for us! Super nice man.. very friendly personality.. and no wait time.. We called downstairs and they literally sent him right up!This hotel definitely knows how to treat and take care of their guests. They make you feel welcomed and special. Great staff! We will definitely be back.. We look forward to it! Great pricing too.. So worth it! We highly recommend this hotel!When you stay at a not so nice hotel it really makes you miss and want to run back to a hotel like the Sheraton where you had such a great experience and stay.”
