“Bear’s Mattress 1st was a breath of fresh air after a disappointing experience with Sleep Number. My husband and I set out to find the perfect mattress in November. The goals were to reduce back pain, reduce shoulder pain, sleep deeper without waking through the night, minimize motion transfer from side to side and fix the issue of a sleeping on a slant with the large weight difference of my husband versus myself. Other factors such as guarantee of durability and no sagging over time also mattered to us. Shortly after purchasing a sleep number, thinking it would be the answer, my husband began having extreme back pain, feeling as if he was sleeping on a hammock. I didn’t mind the bed but honestly it did feel like an upscale camping mattress.

We knew we had to return it and began our search again. The customer service at Bear’s was beyond excellent! Michael paid close attention to our needs and went out of his way to help us choose the perfect mattress. He patiently handled each visit to the store as if I was the only customer and gave th best customer service. Furthermore, Michael helped us to find the best price and guarantees to make us feel secure in our purchase of the Beauty Rest Black Series 3. He even arranged to have the mattress delivered the same day as our sleep number was getting returned. The delivery drivers spoke English, came with a winter equipped truck, and were polite and accommodating.
