“Was surprised when I walked into ALDI’s that everything was moved around, as I talked to one of the employees there, she said that they shut it down for one afternoon/evening and everyone worked digitally to make it look so much better than before. As soon as you walk in there are the fruits and vegetables. Really appreciate the hard work they put into this and as usual it will take time to get used too, but I’m happy for the change. Sraff was knowledgeable and friendly. The vegie section was well stocked and I could not find any spoiled items. The meat selection was good and milk per gallon is at least a dollar cheaper than sheets. The prices are reasonable with many discounts available. The wrapping on some meat leaks but of good quality. Some fruit flies but fresh fruit and veggies. Overall...I would return without question for the big chain stores charge way more for free bagging. This store was hard to find and definitely missable from the main road, however most locals know where it is.

“Was passing through and decided to stop here to see if they had an item that our local store was out of stock on.
Found it to be a charming small town grocery store that had me feeling oddly nostalgic for the kind of stores we'd shop at when I was a kid, even though we didn't have Sparkle markets there. Staff was very nice and shopping there was actually a refreshing change from getting groceries at the big box stores.”
“I just love this store. Yesterday I was in there and I had a cashier called Austin and he was absolutely so efficient and kind. Every time I go in the Route 14 store all of the employees take time to say hello and are very helpful say hello say hello they take time to ask you if you found everything you want. Totally recommend this store”

“I just came to say that my great grandfather David Baker built this in 1950 originally. When you'd drive up it would ding, and he'd go out and pump the gas. My uncle called it Dave's Super Service. They had old fashioned candy cases and soda coolers. They sold hunting and fishing licenses and ammo because he was a hunter. Hand written price tags with a marker and an old fashioned cash register. The home was on the top level, but there was another area behind the store on the bottom level with a kitchen and living room where we used to sit and have family meals during working hours. I loved riding tractor when he'd cut the grass, before they built over it. We used to catch lightening bugs out there in the yard. He had a lovely walnut tree and a small garden out back. I was born in 72, and the station was sold in the late 80's when my great grandparents were too old to take care of it anymore. I wished those who bought it had left some of the original charms but make it nice and nostalgic instead of making i it look just like every other generic gas station out there. Lots of childhood memories here that nobody has but me and my family. I still remember the smell. I miss it so much. Best of luck to the owners.”

“I walk up from my house to this dollar general a few times a week for snacks, monster energy drinks, etc. Since it’s only abt 0.5 mile walk from my house! Staff are so so sweet & kind & if you’re close to a deal on smth & you don’t know they’ll let you know abt u being close to that deal just incase you want it! They’re so incredibly sweet & funny I love this dollar general so much!❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️”
“I would like to complement this store on their employees and cleanliness. I have never walked into a grocery store, where the employee was cleaning the produce coolers with a bucket, rag and knife. (She was cleaning the grooves of the cooler with a knife). The cashiers are always pleasantlyfriendly and go out of their way to be nice.”
