“Conscience stores aren’t exactly known for being a pleasant experience but Al’s Corner provided one. There was much more than expected inside, including a vast array of homemade food options, all which looked delicious. They even had an outdoor grill with all beef hot dogs and fresh hamburgers. The service members were all super friendly. The bathrooms were tidy and they had a lot of beverage options as well. There were also a lot of adult skill machines if one was looking to play a few games. Overall, it was a lovely little stop along the way on our travels and I recommend it.”
“I love the Beaver Supermarket I don’t live in Beaver, but always come down to get certain things they carry that regular chain super markets don’t, and i recommend their big box wing dings that they carry, great deal and great wings.”
“Was surprised when I walked into ALDI’s that everything was moved around, as I talked to one of the employees there, she said that they shut it down for one afternoon/evening and everyone worked digitally to make it look so much better than before. As soon as you walk in there are the fruits and vegetables. Really appreciate the hard work they put into this and as usual it will take time to get used too, but I’m happy for the change. “We live on the PA /OH border and we had a Sparkle that closed so we found our there was this one on East Palestine so we had to check it out. It was no as big as our old Sparkle but they had some good deals.”

“I just came to say that my great grandfather David Baker built this in 1950 originally. When you'd drive up it would ding, and he'd go out and pump the gas. My uncle called it Dave's Super Service. They had old fashioned candy cases and soda coolers. They sold hunting and fishing licenses and ammo because he was a hunter. Hand written price tags with a marker and an old fashioned cash register. The home was on the top level, but there was another area behind the store on the bottom level with a kitchen and living room where we used to sit and have family meals during working hours. I loved riding tractor when he'd cut the grass, before they built over it. We used to catch lightening bugs out there in the yard. He had a lovely walnut tree and a small garden out back. I was born in 72, and the station was sold in the late 80's when my great grandparents were too old to take care of it anymore. I wished those who bought it had left some of the original charms but make it nice and nostalgic instead of making i it look just like every other generic gas station out there. Lots of childhood memories here that nobody has but me and my family. I still remember the smell. I miss it so much. Best of luck to the owners.”

I did have an opportunity the see the store manager interact with his employees and during that observation I could see the respect he and his employees have for each other. I recommend this store for all residents near or around the Rochester PA area. This store is an example of what shoppers should expect.”

“I just love this store. Yesterday I was in there and I had a cashier called Austin and he was absolutely so efficient and kind. Every time I go in the Route 14 store all of the employees take time to say hello and are very helpful say hello say hello they take time to ask you if you found everything you want. “Parking is a nightmare. If you pull in (like I assume most people do), you have to back directly onto the road to get out of the place. While doing so, you can't see if there are cars coming because of the cars parked next to you. After we parked, we decided that the place was probably safe to get gas (it was actually pretty busy for a little mom and pop place). While there, we saw someone else stuck in the same predicament as we were, trying to back out blindly onto the street. We will probably stop here again next time we go to PA, but we will avoid parking in their parking lot.”
