“My stay with Home2Suites was above par !
I encountered a kind lady at the front desks whose name tag I believe said Dorothy.
She was very pleasant and you could tell by her interactions with the guests that she loves what she does ! She was very helpful with any questions we had and always made sure to speak with us when we passed by the front desk. :) 10/10 will be returning based off my interactions with her alone !”
“The rooms are dated but the downside is how much light gets through the curtains. The staff are GREAT and it’s really easy to get on & off the interstate.”
“This was the cleanest hotel we’ve ever stayed at. Not even questionable spots on the sheets. Brand new mattresses bc we make sure to check for you know, if you know. No dust, clean floors and carpet. The pool was perfect temp and the hot tub was hot. We were across from the elevators and didn’t hear a thing! Best sleep in a long time. Shower was hot right away.
From the front desk to the breakfast team to the manager we met at check out. Everyone was amazing. All hotels should take note from hotel and how it’s run. We look forward to staying here if we are in the area again.
The only thing that could have made our stay any better would have been if the window was cleaned on the outside. I don’t know if there is anything that could actually be done but we were trying to watch the train in the distance.

“We stayed for one night and we were very satisfied with the accommodations and service. The room was incredibly clean and well kept, the décor throughout the hotel is contemporary and cozy. Check in and out was a breeze. Kol restaurant had very nice ambiance and terrific service. The food was prompt, correct, well seasoned and served very hot. I would definitely recommend a stay to anyone that is visiting the area.Nearby activities: Husband used the YMCA day pass to use the pool and sauna. It is located just up the road, an easy 5-7 minute walk. The hotel gym was also very nice, clean and well kept.Safety: Carbondale is a sleepy small town, I grew up near here and there is no big crime to speak of really.Walkability: Located on the main drag, there are some small shops and eateries all close by. I recommend grabbing a slice over at Domenick’s.Food & drinks: Kol restaurant had very good service, the beer was served super ice cold, the fireplace was nice as it was rainy and dreary out. The food was excellent.”
“I hosted my 50th Birthday party here last Saturday and it was amazing! I decided about 8 weeks before that I wanted have a party. Joshua called me back and had me come up and see the place and I booked immediately. It is absolutely stunning! He was very pleasant and could accommodate all my requests. He responded promptly to any follow up questions I had. On the day of my event his staff was wonderful. The room was set up exactly how I wanted it. All of my guests said how lovely the staff was especially the bartender. The food was great as well. I can't wait to host another event here.”
“From check in to check out we had an excellent experience. Mark at the check in desk was exactly what you want when you check in to a hotel. Personable, helpful ,friendly, made excellent dinner recommendations and told us about the fireworks! All the staff were pleasant and friendly. The room was clean, comfortable and quiet, breakfast was good. Would most definitely stay here again if in the area.”

“Loved the room it was handicap accessible and service dog friendly.the breakfast could be more of a variety and maybe some juice.only issue is if people like the idea of pet friendly places then at least clean up after your pets it's not the owners responsibility,they make poop bags for that. Otherwise I stay here when I am in town and love them and would recommend them to friends and family .thank you again for being so good to us”
“Went with family and this food is amazing!!! Had ravioli perfect blend of homemake pasta with outstanding cheese filling, and perfect balance of sauce flavor!! This is a must visit and taste for yourself!!”
“I held a couple conventions here with a local organization and everything was perfect. Food was great, rooms were clean, staff was very helpful from the planning to the end. I also attended other events here with various themes.”

“I normally prefer the Residence Inn that is right next door, but it was booked so I have tried this Fairfield Inn a few times. It was not a step down at all. In fact, the breakfast was just as good and the room as spacious (sans kitchen).Mike at front desk was kind and helpful.”

“Everything was good overall clean room, comfortable stay, and a solid breakfast. The gentleman running the breakfast was extremely friendly and made the experience better. There was a slight old smell in the building, but it didn’t affect the stay much. Definitely a good hotel for a overnight stop when traveling through. (Or in my case my semi truck breaking down and needing a place to stay while it gets fixed.)”

“I came to ANZ early in the morning, after being up all night, the lady” Deb” at the front desk, couldn’t have been any kinder or more helpful! She kindly upgraded our room, due to a situation that had nothing to do with her, no questions asked! I thought “wow, there are kind people in the world!” The next day, to our surprise the front desk lady “Friday” also, couldn’t have been more helpful and very sweet and personable! I work in hospitality, and these ladies are top notch! They have no idea that I am here because I am sick and need to be close to the hospital, they just wanted to make our stay as comfortable as possible. The ANZ corporation are lucky to have these ladies . This hotel is a diamond in the rough,. I will be telling everyone about this quaint little hotel, solely because those two ladies made a great impression by being wonderful employees. Keep up the good work! I highly recommended this place to anyone!”
“The location is perfect for my family and I. We're right next to a gas station, a grocery store and a lot of important facilities if we ever need something in a pinch. The wifi is great and the service is spectacular. The individuals who take care of this motel are so kind and helpful with everything. I greatly appreciate their help! The rooms are a little tiny and there isn't a refrigerator in my room, but it's comfortable, clean, put together and the facilities work!”
“This location has a unique place for you to park up in the back of the building and be able to walk across the ramp to the hotel has nice area for you to walk your dogs and plenty of spaces if you wanna park a oversize vehicle if you were planning on attending dog shows in this area. The rooms are beautiful very spacious and the beds are very comfortable.”

“The room was clean and the front desk clerk, I think was Keven, was so nice and helpful, me moved us to a different floor without prompting so we could have a quieter stay, would definitely stay again.”
