No cheesesteaks at Hidden River. I am working on a soon-not-to-be double secret project, so we stopped at Hidden River. I am glad we did. This place is haunted. Top ten most haunted places in America. According to a woman on Google Maps, you can buy tickets online for the haunted house tour after the brewery closes. Plenty of parking. Plenty of places to sit. Inside, outside, bar, and garden. Friendly crowd. A guy bought us and a few other people a drink. I loved my beer, so I had two of them. Amigo Dan tried two different beers and liked both of them. Tease, we were there for the beer. Sorry, I was feeling under the weather, and Amigo Dan was making me drink massive quantities of alcohol; I didn't get any video of my beer. We got the bar pretzel. It was amazing. It came with beer cheese. The beer cheese was amazing. It was creamy and added a lot of flavor

The man running the truck was cool and let us taste everything as he was packaging our food up!!! It was so juicy! We got ribs, pulled pork sandwich, and brisket sandwich! Im especially excited to try the baked beans and potato salad!!

Douglassville Shopping Center, 180 Old Swede Road, DouglassvilleJoyful House Cuisine in Douglassville has quickly become one of my go-to spots, and for good reason. Every visit has been consistently excellent, with food that’s fresh, flavorful, and clearly made with care. The chicken and broccoli dish is absolutely delicious, perfectly cooked, tender chicken paired with crisp broccoli and a rich, savory sauce that hits all the right notes without being too heavy. It’s comfort food done right.
I also have to rave about their scallion pancakes. They’re golden, crispy on the outside, soft on the inside, and packed with flavor. Easily some of the best I’ve had anywhere.
And don’t overlook the sushi, it’s just as impressive as the hot dishes. Fresh, well-prepared, and beautifully presented, it’s definitely worth ordering whether you’re dining in or taking out.
Overall, Joyful House Cuisine delivers across the board. Great food, great variety, and always a satisfying experience. Highly recommended!
