My husband, Stephen Aguiar used to take mama there to get her nails trimmed. Now I took her there for the first time and this woman is a genuine human being. So compassionate. She was really there for me when I needed someone and mom needed someone. I can’t say enough about this place. It’s just, it’s great. Take your dog there, she will be awesome with them. Her bottom is healing from too much scooting because she's so clean back there. I couldn't be more pleased. Katie even gave my cat a gold star for being a good girl and welcomed us back. Nicki was kind and very sweet to my cat, Jyn. The amount of undercoat that came out was insane! Jyn definitely needed the full bath, ear clean, nail trim and deshed- all for $70!!! Totally reasonable and efficient. I dropped her off, and went to target and Nicki texted me 10 mins before the appt was over! Super simple and she did a fantastic job.

We reside outside the Pittsburgh area, and my dog, Pete—a Golden Doodle and a rescue—has struggled with grooming throughout his life. After being turned away from multiple grooming facilities due to his behavioral challenges, I discovered Kristy’s services at Kristy’s Pet Palace. Despite the distance, I make the five-hour drive every six to eight weeks because Kristy is able to work with Pete at his own pace, creating a calm and stress-free environment.
Pete, who has had a history of being difficult during grooming sessions, now stands calmly during his grooming appointments. Kristy’s gentle approach, which includes no crate drying, is something I truly appreciate, as many other groomers use cage drying, which can be stressful for dogs. Kristy also takes the time to send me updates, including videos, showing how relaxed and well-behaved Pete is during grooming—a stark contrast to how he behaves at other facilities.
Additionally, Kristy has also groomed my cat, shaving him down twice a year, demonstrating her skill and versatility with different types of animals. If you have a nervous dog or a pet that has had negative experiences with grooming in the past, I highly recommend Kristy. Her patience, expertise, and genuine care for animals are unparalleled, and I am confident you will not be disappointed.

It was easy to schedule an appointment for my dog Murphy and me. I was taken into a room on time. the technician arrived shortly after and Dr. Rice followed soon after that. Dr. Rice took time to discuss with me a treatment plan for Murphy. I feel very positive about our way forward and resolving Murphy’s issue.

Everything was handled wonderfully the way they treated all of us from the moment we arrived to the very end of our dogs life. It was so very heart wrenching and devastating to all of us watching our precious dog die in front of us but it was also a wonderful service that we got from Larkin veterinarians. They are so very kind and sweet and they sent us a beautiful flower afterwards with their condolences for our beloved pet who had passed.

We were able to secure seating for 14 people. Service was excellent. Attentive, checked on us for drinks. Food was outstanding. I had fish and chips and fish was delicate and flaky with great breading. Huge portion. Our party ordered a wide variety of menu options and everyone raved about food.
Only drawback was one set of restrooms and hard wood chairs were a little uncomfortable to sit for a long period

There are restaurants you eat at, and restaurants that claim you. Jimenez claimed me years ago and I have never once tried to escape.
The chicken huarache is my personal religion. The birria tacos are a flat-out revelation. Every out-of-town friend I’ve dragged here has gone silent on the first bite. That silence is respect. When visitors say “I don’t know what I’m in the mood for,” I don’t deliberate. I just drive towards Oley St. Then I point them toward the Horchata or the Jamaica and watch their entire worldview expand in real time. Also the music videos and telenovelas on either of the TV’s really make you feel like you’re just at your Tia’s house in Reading.
The seasoning operates on a level that feels personal. The staff will converse with you in English, entertain your broken Spanish, and quietly correct you so you actually walk away more fluent. That’s not just hospitality. That’s generosity.
Taqueria Jimenez and their staff are a pillar of this community and to me they are Mi familia(whether they know it or not) and have earned every ounce of those titles. If you haven’t been, go fix that immediately.

Called to tell them and they offered since we had to come back an 8 piece meal. 5. Went back and they would not give us our missing box of biscuits but gave us 8 piece meal instead which was appreciated but family wanted biscuits but we did get the 4 that came with the 8 piece meall. 5. Ordered online and waited 30 mins then get there and they only pull the ticket and I wait another 20ish minutes. Not sure how I feel about it. Was it worth the time lost? Food was great so they get 4 stars! Hopefully their truck comes soon so they are not out of stuff.

She was very informative and supported us answering questions through the application process with so much care, kindness, and patience. We could tell right away we were in the best hands.
Our sweet girl was named Chocolate Paws at the rescue, and we’ve since renamed her Nova and she has completely stolen our hearts.
We are beyond grateful to Kenzie and the rescue Humane Pennsylvania Freedom Center for bringing Nova into our lives. This experience meant more to us than words can express, and we will forever be thankful for everything they do to help these dogs find their forever homes. ?❤️
