My husband, Stephen Aguiar used to take mama there to get her nails trimmed. Now I took her there for the first time and this woman is a genuine human being. So compassionate. She was really there for me when I needed someone and mom needed someone. I can’t say enough about this place. It’s just, it’s great. Take your dog there, she will be awesome with them. I've been taking my 9 yr old, overweight, and aggressive cat to her for 2 years and she always gets the job done and does it with kindness and understanding. My cat came home clean and fresh. Her bottom is healing from too much scooting because she's so clean back there. I couldn't be more pleased. Katie even gave my cat a gold star for being a good girl and welcomed us back. We give Katie 5 stars!

4607 Perkiomen Ave, ReadingFantastic store service and help. Please keep the return policy up since I wish dogs can talk. This would make things a lot easier for everyone. I had to return the product since it caused her diarrhea. At some stores one is stuck with the product and a waste of money. It's not our fault :-( I just wish you can send those returned products to a charitable organization or shelter for dogs or cats that need them.

We reside outside the Pittsburgh area, and my dog, Pete—a Golden Doodle and a rescue—has struggled with grooming throughout his life. After being turned away from multiple grooming facilities due to his behavioral challenges, I discovered Kristy’s services at Kristy’s Pet Palace. Despite the distance, I make the five-hour drive every six to eight weeks because Kristy is able to work with Pete at his own pace, creating a calm and stress-free environment.
Pete, who has had a history of being difficult during grooming sessions, now stands calmly during his grooming appointments. Kristy’s gentle approach, which includes no crate drying, is something I truly appreciate, as many other groomers use cage drying, which can be stressful for dogs. Kristy also takes the time to send me updates, including videos, showing how relaxed and well-behaved Pete is during grooming—a stark contrast to how he behaves at other facilities.
Additionally, Kristy has also groomed my cat, shaving him down twice a year, demonstrating her skill and versatility with different types of animals. If you have a nervous dog or a pet that has had negative experiences with grooming in the past, I highly recommend Kristy. Her patience, expertise, and genuine care for animals are unparalleled, and I am confident you will not be disappointed.

813 Elm Street, ReadingBeen going to him since the 90s. when I moved here. I find him very dependable & reliable. He didn't just say to put my puppies down when they had parvo. Instead he talked me though the process of helping them survive. I'd bring the puppy to him so he can infuse fluids in them, while id follow instructions on what to do at home. Both puppies recovered from parvo. No fees for boarding, especially since there were no promise of survival. Always get my animals shots there. Yes the neighborhood has changed over the years but he's far from getto. Once you get to know his wife she's an awesome person. He's always been there for us over the years. His office is old but clean. The back room has all the medications in it, why were not permitted in it. Understandable. I had a big mixed dog that no one would treat when I moved here. He did. Scheduled my appointment around others, had me in there alone & he vaccinated my dog. He cleaned his ears. Helped me save my puppies from parvo, which happened years apart. I will always go to dr rude. He can be cheaper because we're not paying for location or a large dressed up place. What you're paying for is the visit & fees for meds he distributed to your pet. What fancy in a good neighborhood...well you pay a lot extra for that. Oh & if he can't help your pet he will send you to someone who can. He don't take on more than he can handle. I love Dr Rude & always will.

Everything was handled wonderfully the way they treated all of us from the moment we arrived to the very end of our dogs life. It was so very heart wrenching and devastating to all of us watching our precious dog die in front of us but it was also a wonderful service that we got from Larkin veterinarians. They are so very kind and sweet and they sent us a beautiful flower afterwards with their condolences for our beloved pet who had passed.

They drew blood and gave him his vaccines. We also had him neutered and they did a great job as well. My cat healed very quickly and I’m very thankful for them helping me save this cat!

She was very informative and supported us answering questions through the application process with so much care, kindness, and patience. We could tell right away we were in the best hands.
Our sweet girl was named Chocolate Paws at the rescue, and we’ve since renamed her Nova and she has completely stolen our hearts.
We are beyond grateful to Kenzie and the rescue Humane Pennsylvania Freedom Center for bringing Nova into our lives. This experience meant more to us than words can express, and we will forever be thankful for everything they do to help these dogs find their forever homes. ?❤️
