“This is one of my happy places in the area. Grocery prices are comparable to Wegmans and Giant but it's all mostly organic and always fresh. And then herbal remedies and natural skincare have the best prices in town. I also buy ingredients for my homemade skincare products there. Also, I love that it's a PA-based family owned business.”
“This store is so clean and well-maintained. My partner and I stopped by yesterday and we were helped by Jim (at the register for alcoholic beverages) and he was so friendly and nice to talk to.”
“This BJ's location is in the Downing County area on Lancaster Avenue. They have enough parking and carts are located in the parking area. They do have a tire center, optical department. The customer service center is not the Great, but it's okay. It would be great if they keep any carts inside the store unfortunately you have to take it from the parking lot. The place doesn't get this year very normal crowd. I use this for regular grocery shopping, some seasonal shopping like Garden. yard supplies and patio furniture. They do have a huge range of gift card books and clothing for kids, men's, women's. You can find jackets, sweatshirts , and shoes, everything here at a reasonable price. You can not compare this to any Costco location, but it's still worth it. They do have a very good Bakery section, and I have ordered cakes here, and it serves the birthday party well.”

“Located in Downingtown and closer to Thorndale, I like this location for their nursery section during the spring and summer season. The store is maintained well and has a shared but large parking lot. The store is well stocked and the staff is friendly. The checkout is easy. I would expect the bakery to be more but meet the basic needs. The fresh veggies, produce, and flowers are a plus at this location.”
“Best local family owned market in the area, exceptional meat selection many local. Same for produce, fresh fish delivered six days a week and the bulk spices are affordable. In store bakery. What's not to like.”
“Ian is outstanding! I had four new tires installed on 5/23/25, and he was working the phones, scheduling clients, provinding customer service AND intalling my tires completely by himself. I was impressed with how he handled the multitasking with courtesy and a professional demeanor and that he did a great job installing my tires. I'm not sure whty BJs had only one employee working there, but, in my opinion, they are lucky to have Ian and should give him a promotion and raise. Employees like Ian are hard to find these days. Thank you, Ian!”

“I never leave reviews, but I had to write one for San Marco. I stopped in for the first time this morning after a recommendation from a friend. I decided on fresh ravioli and aurora sauce and made it for my toddler and I for lunch. Holy cow, it is INSANELY good. The owner was also very kind and helpful! I can’t believe I’ve lived 5 minutes away for almost two years and haven’t stopped in until now. I have never had ravioli this good before, not even from Italian restaurants. I will absolutely be coming back!”
