“Loved the decorating advice I got from Judy; I get many compliments on the sofa/fabric she helped me to pick. When my cocktail table order was delayed for months Ethan Allen sent me a loaner, which was great. Ultimately EA couldn’t deliver on my cocktail table - it took 9 months to learn that, which was very annoying. But I got my money back and was able to find a table elsewhere so things worked out ok.”

“I cannot say enough positive things about Workshop Underground. My husband and I stumbled into the store one day and were immediately awed by how beautiful the displays and jewelry are. We saw that they had wedding rings available, and struck up conversation with Ruben and Bopa. They toured us around the store, offered us some beverages, and shared their business and design ideas with us—we immediately felt like family. I brought my mother in for a ring fitting and she ALSO fell in love with the store. She bought an infinity band there, which she had wanted for a long time, and could not stop raving about Ruben and Bopa and her whole experience working with them. My husband and are so happy we chose Workshop Underground for our wedding bands (and some other fun pieces of jewelry too, of course) and would highly recommend them to anyone looking for high quality and unique jewelry with impeccable customer service.”

“Thank you for the great customer service during a difficult time for my family and for the beautiful floral arrangements for my sisters homegoing service. We contacted five different florist and Wise was the one that we chose after having one florist be rude. I am very glad that we ended up going with them because we were very worried about how the arrangements will look without being able to the florist work previous to ordering. Wise was the only florist with pictutes online. They were able to accommodate an early delivery schedule, answer multiple questions by phone and email with patience, and did a beautiful job on the arrangements. We ordered a casket spray, a standing spray, and a custom letter Z. The casket spray and standing spray looked like what was pictured online. Thank you again for the beautiful pieces. My sister loved flowers and would have loved the arrangements.”
“It’s a quite eclectic but lovely store by Isaiah Zagar and his wife. Really cool store!! Everywhere you turn, you see something else that catches your eye. You can call it a gallery because it’s just an eye candy, but would say it’s more like a store with multiple artwork from all over the world. We bought a nice cat mask from Mexico and nice bowl from Turkey. The art is reasonably priced and the staff is very friendly.”

“Some of the items can seem a little pricey, BUT I still go here whenever I need a last minute gift or a little something for someone - especially for a baby! There are so many adorable, unique gifts and trinkets. Some of my favorite home decor items are from here. And they're always the ones people comment on when they visit.
You'll find yourself walking around and saying "wow, {insert friend's name} would love this," every time you turn around. If you're in Mannyunk you definitely need to check this place out!”

“OMG!! What I cannot say about this neighborhood staple!! My mother bought the fabric to sew my sister and I matching summer outfits 70+yrs ago. I purchased my fabric to make my first a-line skirt and all my roll clothes fabrics (when this place was James&Jones)! The creek of the original wood floors to the smell of fabric is a memory I cherished and takes me back to when Germantown has Buster Brown, Duval's Hoagie shop, Rowells Department Store and you didn't need to go out of the familiar to buy anything ❤️❤️”

Not only did Kazan ( the owner) spend plenty of time going over our options, he chose great looking fixtures which were delivered earlier than promised. When I came time for the installation, I contacted him with questions from our electricians. He answered the questions and emailed me instruction sheets for the electricians to use. That's service!!!”
“Walking into Hello World Modern Mercantile was such a visual delight! I had first read about the store online where information found on the website suggested shopping in person would offer the fullest selection. So true! There is an immense array of gift items waiting to be discovered, so much so that I walked around the store several times. I did not want to overlook anything. “I needed a gift for someone who has everything. This little boutique drew me in with their eye catching window display. Upon entering I was greeted and left to look around on my own. This shop is packed with everything you could think of - jewelry, candles, journals, bath products, handbags, crystals, and clothes! So many unique pieces too, lots of one of a kind items. The business owner, Natalie, is kind and engaging and wrapped my gifts (a moss amigo and hand poured candle) carefully. I guarantee you'd be able to find a gift for anyone in this store.
