“OMG!! What I cannot say about this neighborhood staple!! My mother bought the fabric to sew my sister and I matching summer outfits 70+yrs ago. I purchased my fabric to make my first a-line skirt and all my roll clothes fabrics (when this place was James&Jones)! The creek of the original wood floors to the smell of fabric is a memory I cherished and takes me back to when Germantown has Buster Brown, Duval's Hoagie shop, Rowells Department Store and you didn't need to go out of the familiar to buy anything ❤️❤️”

“You don't need anything in here but you will definitely want one or two random things - tote bags, thank you card, cocktails mixes, candles, pillows, purses in the shape of a carton of popcorn... This is the perfect place to find a unique gift for someone, (especially if that someone likes pink) ... Including babies, every time I come in here it seems the baby section has expanded. I don't go all out in here because the stuff is a little pricey but it's a fun store to browse. It's more spacious than it looks, I see people maneuvering strollers no problem.”

“Such a cool variety of plants here - some I haven't seen in person before. Very excited about the polka dot begonia I got! Was given care tips, and they will write them down for you on a card too if you want. The prices are also very reasonable, especially because all of the plants are full, healthy, and clearly well taken care of.There is also the cutest shop dog named Emmett there who was so gentle and sweet. Can't wait to stop in again!”

“When I think of Kellijane, I think of beauty, luxury and the best linens that will be passed down to generations to come. I have not had the pleasure of experiencing her original store; however, I would always get excited for the beautiful linens and multitudes of dish towels my mom would bring home. Sight unseen, I understood no matter the purchase each item would be sensational! This was my first time finally having the true Kellijane experience. I joined my mom at Kelly's South Philly studio and was so graciously invited in to see a combination of linens I would have never fathomed could look so beautiful together. At first glance I did not see how it would work. Yet, Kelly has this unbelievable, unparalleled eye that made me see the beauty in the contrast of colors and patterns. Kelly gave us a space for creating a beautiful bedroom scheme without pretense or pressure. She welcomed our ideas with an open ear and always offered another variation. As times are tough both mentally and financially, these purchases are not a daily occurrence. Yet, there was no question or judgment of what we could or could not afford. Kelly only wants you to love what you bring home. Her philosophy on life and how she does business is one I/we (mom) inspire to emulate. She loves what she does and that is truly salient in her work and throughout our interaction. In the sometimes pretentious and oft overwhelming world of luxurious items and design, Kelly is THE quintessential person to make your house your home.
