“I don't understand some of these reviews. I've never had a problem with this bank. They are very Courteous , respectful and engaging. This is probably the only bank that I've ever dealt with where they actually make you feel like you are genuinely important ! ! And to be honest I've had this feeling in every one of the local branches in the Harrisburg area love them!! Best bank ever!”
“Staff are courteous. The hours of operation could be better ie: closed at 5pm weekdays, most people work till 5p not convenient. The corp changes proceedures and requirements regularly, this causes confusion to customers and slows transactions.”
“Incase the employees that were helping the kittens wanted to know. The kittens were cleaned,kept warm and well fed for that night and are now at Chambersburg animal shelter. We gave them the names sweet pea and Jack-jack. They will be looking for a forever home still if anyone is interested. Picture is sweet pea.”

“I can't thank Tyler enough! He helped me so much with removing my teenager from a checking account to a savings! Tyler did it in no time flat and with ease. Made my job 1000% easier! My teen thought it was ok to keep overdrafting his checking and making it go on my credit score. Tyler stopped that but yet still let my teen have a bank account.

“Of all the times I've gone to this bank branch, there's only been one teller open. And there always seems to be at least one or two people ahead of me in line. Transactions here are not that quick or efficient. I'm actually surprised this bank is even able to stay in business at this location. Never busy nor adequately staffed. Must be cheaper to finish out the lease than close and buy it out. Who knows? I really only come here to make work deposits so I can't speak to any of the other services other than waiting in line for a teller. I know this is a small, local bank, and I try to support local businesses, but I don't see an advantage to banking here. Perhaps I should look into their lending department and see what other services they have to offer.”

“Dealt with them couple years ago. Great experience so I decide to give them a try when I needed to raise my limit on my home equity loan that I had already in place with another institution. Even though my home value increase significantly since the first home equity loan was taken out, my bank (at that time) still did not qualify me for any additional amount even though a higher amount was quoted earlier.So I decided to give members first a try since they proved themselves in the past, and again they came through with a blazing glory. They actually increased my line of credit 60% more from the old institution’s original line of credit amount! That’s a big increase and that’s the amount I was expecting based on my credit score and the increase value of my home. They saved a vacation house deal I would have lost if they didn’t come through.There was a small miscommunication during the transaction but this was completely resolved by management in literally 30 minutes (including the call back with the good news.)Looking at their mission statement, they literally put their members first. Thanks again for your great customer service. We will be switching our old banks’ accounts from the old institution to members first in the near future.”
“I just recently opened account at PSECU and I do not regret it. The interest rates are so much better then a traditional bank... Credit Union duh...
PSECU is a ONLINE focused bank so if you want to open accounts you do so online. If you go to a Branch location to open an account you will be shuffled to a computer to complete the same form on the same website as you would at home. Which leads me to my only complaint about this location... when I opened my accounts after do my research I wanted to sit down with someone... but they just shuffled me to a public computer to do everything on.
The above is the only problem I had with the location. I have been a few times to deposit checks and cash. Staff is quick and courteous.
PSECU is definitely a ONLINE and App focused bank.”
