“Always a good stop when I’m around town. The folks at the Altoona Tractor Supply are down to earth and easy to deal with. They actually help you find what you need and know their stuff. Store’s always clean and stocked, and prices are decent. Never had a bad trip here.”
“Over 60 years ago I memorized Mallow's Hardware's phone number and have not forgotten it. If you see a review here giving less than five stars then the problem was with the customer, not the store.”
“Nice hometown hardware. This is an easy quick trip if you are in need of a tool or something quickly. They have a good selection of tools and hardware on site. They make keys if needed and have the materials to repair or replace screens for doors and windows. Rarely disappointed when I pop in for an item and if it isn't available and you don't need it right now you can have them order it.”
“Ben and Dan gave us a tour and showed us some of the custom capabilities they offer. Great to see craftsmanship is still alive. Looking forward to working with Modern Cabinet and Construction.”
“Rented a U-Haul trailer for moving. Amazing and prompt service. Owner is a terrific guy and conversationalist. Very down to earth. Highly recommend for all needs.”
“Bill Neely is very knowledgeable about wine making. The wine that he’s made is very good and has been a big hit to family and friends. Sharing with friends and family down south. Thank you so much.”
“I stopped in after work tonight since my key fob was starting to fall apart. They were professional, friendly and were able to get me a replacement. Glad to support a business that has been in Altoona for 100 years.”
“Great place to shop local. They have almost everything and very reasonable priced. The help is fantastic and knowledgeable. Great place to just browse too! Great selections!”
“Great people, always around to help you with anything you need. They have a large selection as well as always being able to order you in anything you may need for you project.”
“Extremely helpful and knowledgeable staff, fair prices on rental equipment for my company. Tommy, Jim and the whole staff have always went out of their way to help me and other customers”
“Place to go for that out of the ordinary thing you need. Customer Service is great, if one person doesn't know they will ask someone else so you get what you are looking for”
“Great store. I went in to purchase an item on sale and there was none on the shelf. I asked at the register if there was any in stock. I'm sorry I don't remember his name, maybe Nate? but he radio to Derek, who brought up a case from the stock room and allowed my to remove those I wanted to buy. I asked about textured gloves, which were also out of stock. Nate checked, but none were available. Nate went to a nearby display and brought up a box of a different glove in my size, which I purchased. I appreciate the extra effort to provide me with the items I went in for.”
“Great home improvement store in Blair County, PA! They offer an array of home improvement products that are perfect for DIY projects! They offer light fixtures, window blinds, garden plants, garden soil, fencing, screen doors, appliances, wood, and much more! I recommend checking out this store, for your next home project!”
“Im loving this location, been there several times in the past 2 weeks. The staff is very friendly and helpful. However, one of the cashiers was rude despite my politeness. It seemed odd, so I gave 4 stars instead of 5”

“Zack and Gunner delivered a grill for me today. They were very friendly and professional. Showed me how to use it and told me about the 10yr warranty. They also offered to take my old grill, which was a great help. I would definitely recommend Ace Hardware in Duncansville for all your needs. Thanks”
