Post Offices
“This post office is very small and quaint. Can be very busy; outside the door lines. The staff is kind enough to apologize for the inconvenience of waiting. Staff is very friendly training new employees. Customer service is great.”
“Good post office. The woman at the desk was just slightly short with me when I asked a question, and completely misunderstood my intent. She turned a corned after the interaction, though. Overall solid service and a well run location.”
“This is a very impressive post office. It is so impressive that even I would be inspired to sit on the steps and paint Scranton from this vantage point on a sketch pad with a pencil. But what do I know? I’m just Tiffany. I’ve only gone to the Louvre Museum in Paris, France multiple times (most recently with my fiancé) and seen art students and scholars all over the city being inspired and living their best lives.
Wait, was I supposed to write “charcoal” instead of pencil because everyone hates writing with the wooden sticks? Grow up.”
“It's tax Day. They only scheduled one clerk. At least that's all I saw while I was in line for 20 minutes. Thank goodness that clerk was Jim.
Jim is professional, friendly, and gets the job done. He knows what he's doing. Other people may have gotten flustered on such a busy day. But not Jim. He served every customer with consistent knowledge and friendliness.
I think my 20 minute wait could have been longer if not for Jim. Thanks for your hard work, Jim!”
“Everyone who works at the post office is friendly, and I never mind going there. Our regular carrier is great. We do have issues now and then when he's off. Our address is a little confusing, so I understand why it happens, just don't really like having to track down packages. My only other issue is that it's hard to get through on the local number. Still, I think they do a good job overall and everyone I've dealt with has always been very nice!”
“I went to Scranton Post office to get a post office box and a change of address and the clerk knew nothing and as a result I had to go to Taylor post office with the Clark gave me exactly what I was looking for when I was looking for it”
“Don't know what people are saying about the service. I had to ship back a package and the young lady started to ask me questions about the package. I told her I'm hard of hearing . She was so pleasant with me. I can't tell you how much it means to me . Erase all that negativity and give that place 5 stars.”
“I went to mail a big box and the lady at the counter was so so helpful ,very positive and a true down to earth person ..I wish I remembered her name ..she was darker skinned with glasses ..what a beautiful person to have a transaction with at this post office .Thank You ..Sunshine ?”
“Dimitri and Mark were very knowledgeable about the passport process. They were also very patient with my child who was very difficult to picture. We were so thankful for their help and adjusting to our toddler’s needs. We even appreciate how much the other people there workers and customers acted while we struggled to get our toddler to behave and take the picture. No one made us feel like we were causing delay.”
“I live on Alder st and I asked our mailman his first name today and it is Matthew He is such a kind caring young man He should be recognized for the wonderful young man that he is I do hope he stays on my route His parents should be very proud Thank you Patricia Evanits”
“The most pleasant experience I ever had in a post office was this one. The lady at the desk was so fast and kind. She knew everyone in lines names coming for their mail and had the line moving so quick. Wow kudos to her ? if everyone treated their jobs so great and their customers the world would be a better place! God bless her ?”
