“Been going to LVC for several years for both of my dogs. Everyone is always so kind, attentive, and personable. I rarely have to sit in the waiting area, which is really nice for my dog's comfort, especially my reactive/nervous dog. Getting an appt within a couple of days-a week is rarely an issue. Dr. Perone and Dr. Patten are both great; both provide excellent care and answer questions thoughtfully. I feel very reassured that my dogs are in good hands for any surgeries performed by Dr. Patten. All of the techs/assistants are wonderful as well!”

“I’ve been with SV for about three years now. I had two cats who were seen regularly. Appointments are easy to schedule and the front desk staff is kind and helpful. I’ve seen a few different doctors, vet techs, and support staff over the years. I have not one complaint. When we had to let my 18 year old cat go, they did it with compassion, dignity and respect. We all worked really hard to give that old man a great quality of life.
Our other cat, also about 18, has needed more and more care-recently an emergent appointment that was scheduled, and then she was in a room being seen, within an hour and a half. I was very grateful.
They have also given us samples of foods and products to test (as not to waste money if my cat wouldn’t eat it). Prices are reasonable. I truly recommend them. Good peoples.”

She took time to explain everything and made sure I was comfortable with my pets treatment plan- part of which includes manually expressing my rabbits bladder, she demonstrated the proper technique and then let me try to make sure I was confident before I went home. I literally came 10 minutes before close and never felt rushed or insignificant to her. She’s the best exotic vet I’ve had!”

“Last Thursday my worst nightmare happened. My five year old dog went in for a foreign body surgery at our regular vet and it turned out to actually be a hole in her duodenum, which required specialized surgery that her vet had never done before. We were sent to Metro where we met Dr. Guant who was very compassionate towards my husband, myself, and our dog Laika. He explained what was going to happen, gave the estimate, and thoroughly answered our questions. We felt very comfortable leaving Laika there and driving the hour home.
After surgery, her surgeon Dr. LK gave us hopeful but guarded news about our pup. He seemed very confident that the procedure itself went well but she needed to be monitored after being septic, and he was able to do a less invasive procedure rather than a resection. Again, we were so worried for her but so thankful she had access to this specialist who did what was best for her.
The next several days she spent time with criticalists Dr. Tumielewics and Dr. Morgan who were very accommodating to our daily visits and questions. We were always sad to leave her there but the doctors were fantastic. They both are very knowledgeable and had solutions to the various issues that popped up post op.
The nurses that worked with laika were also amazing. Laura and Jessi (and I’m sure others!) spent so much time with our dog who had never been away from home without us. Laika is a sensitive dog who spends most of her time with us or her dog siblings, so imaging her alone in her run was so hard. Thankfully we got daily updates on Laika’s snack times and snuggle sessions. Jessi also listened to me sob on the phone after having an especially tough update earlier in the week. I’ll be forever grateful for their compassion.
The front desk also was always very sweet and helpful! I witnessed them not only help me in this stressful time, but many other scared and emotional families. This is a very hard job, but the team at metro still steps up to the plate every day to help pets and families in need.”
“Cats only was consistently the best veterinarian experience I have ever had. My cat has since passed so I haven’t been there in awhile. Everyone was always so kind and really listened to our concerns. They even sent me a very sweet card signed by the staff and offered to refund his unused medicated food. I had noticed in my previous review I only left 5 stars but my experience with cats only deserves more than that. It’s not the cheapest option, but it was well worth the money.”

“Dr Tamas is the best hidden gem I’ve ever encountered. I’ve trusted 7 or 8 pets in her care, and that’s not easy to do. My pets are my family and I’m incredibly particular about the care they receive. I’m also incredible particular about vet care costs. I know how much things are upcharged at a lot of vets, but you’ll never see that here. Her staff is also incredible and efficient. We’ve had the pleasure of knowing great techs through Dr Tamas.
Dr Tamas is the epitome of what a proper veterinarian should be and we love her to the ends of the earth.”

Mary Kate who initially answered my call (she was amazing at listening to my issues) helped set an appointment for me with Dr. Tara. My cat is anxious and it’s been tough finding her proper care.
FOUND IT!
Dr. Tara and tech, Xylia were absolutely incredible with her (my cat). I’ve never seen her so relaxed before and allow an examination to be done. They were like cat whisperers! They both truly listened to our distress over my cats illness and behaviors and formulated a plan. Ultrasound first.
Jen, the Manager was instrumental in helping me drop my cat off early for her ultrasound appointment (and it was supposed to snow and Jen kept in contact with me until the day before just in case the weather changed..who does that?! Jen..that’s who). Simply outstanding service.
The ultrasound went well, and that’s when I met Ash and Tara (at the front desk). They too were extremely friendly and helpful and proficient!
Afterwards, I received a call from Tina about meds and she was also fantastic and made sure I understood what to do with them.
I’ve had such an incredible experience here that we have decided to take our 3 other cats here as well. I’ve never felt so heard and seen and respected by all staff members of a vets office. I know my cats are in excellent hands now.

“We had our first visit with Dr Tori today. We went to her father for over 30 years. We were really excited to meet her. By the time we got there our dog was in distress. This was a new and sudden development. His heart rate was too high and he was having trouble breathing. Dr Tori and her staff acted quickly getting a chest xray ASAP. Enlarged heart. Our dog is a 12 1/2 year old Newf. We appreciated her recommended to take him home on some cardiac meds instead of going to an ER..
They were compassionate and patient. Hank is home now with new medication and we are hopeful.

We live in Philly and haven’t had great experiences with vets in the city, so we have instead come out to this location for the last two years and it makes such a difference. “We needed to get our kitty, Pip Squeak, dental work due to tartar on his molars. We called for an appointment at Creature Comforts, but couldn't catch him for 2 appts. We felt badly to ask for a 3rd. Appt., but Creature Comforts was willing for another try. We caught Pip Squeak and he had his preliminary checkup, blood work, etc. and we have a Dental Cleaning appt. all set for October!
Dr. Wolbramsky and her staff were welcoming and very professional in checking over Pip and the blood draw, which was done quickly and with skill. We really appreciated their understanding for our lack of skill in catching Pip Squeak and their suggestions.”
