“Every time I have to go there, which is fairly often, since I have three dogs, the staff is helpful, very knowledgeable, and goes out of their way to accommodate any needs or requests. While I think all of the veterinarians that have seen my dogs for various things have been wonderful, Dr. Chick is amazing. She goes above and beyond to help your pet, whatever the problem. She really cares and it shows.”

“VERY CARING PLACE. TOOK OUR MARLEY IN TODAY AND SHE WAS SEEN BY DR AARON. HE WALKED IN AND UNDERSTOOD THE NATURE OF OUR DOG WITHIN SECONDS AND DROPPED DOWN ON THE FLOOR AND SAT TO RELEAVE ANY STRESS THAT SHE HAD. SHES A 90 LB GERMAN SHEPHERD WHO HAS A LOT OF ANXIETY WITH OTHER MALES. “I've been coming here for a few months now and everyone is so extremely kind and actually listens to my concerns about my pets, not to mention, the pricing here is phenomenal, I've never been to a more affordable vet where the doctors and technicians are extremely knowledgeable and always know what they're talking about! They gave me so much helpful advice when I came in as a first time owner of a new puppy, and I even left with a kong just for her. I don't usually write reviews, but my pets are one of the most important things in my life, and having a vet that takes such good care of them is something I have to spread the word on.”
“We went in for what we thought was a sprain ankle for my St. Bernard Great Dane turns out they diagnosed her with cancer. They were very compassionate and guided us through the next step. Unfortunately it spread to fast and we end up putting her to sleep. But everyone there was wonderful would highly recommend them. We were skeptical going back there at first since Dr. Gordon left. But all the new Dr.s are wonderful so much better than the ones that were there 2 yrs ago. No bedside manner rush you out. I am so thankful White Oak vet is back to what they used to be.”
“The staff was great but the “pre-registration” needs work. I always pre register and I check in when I pull into the parking lot. Walk to the line. Then some are told to scan the QR code then go walk around until we receive a text. Told not to stand in line. From what I seen I was definitely first checking in. So having common sense I should be first being seen. That’s not how it went. After I got my text I went and stood at the “start here” sign, exactly as the text said. As I’m standing there I’m seeing one, two, three, four people go in. People that were there way after me. I go into the next aisle and I’m seeing more people that just came in being checked in and put in line to be seen. Not being told to go walk around. ?♀️ finally after 2 more people (again, more that came AFTER me) I was finally allowed to go back. I go early and pre register for a reason. I work nights and have minimal time yet I care about my pets and their wellbeing. Registration needs a huge overhaul. You should be seen the order you are checked in. People who refuse to follow directions shouldn’t be rewarded with fast service. Please do something about this.”

“A few years ago I brought my senior cat into this clinic for the first time; he was very, very sick and I was so scared that I was going to lose him, but thanks to this place I was given 4 more years with my boy. Even though it's not an emergency clinic everyone on staff rolled out everything they could in order to help and kept me comforted in that scary time. Edgebrook was my first choice and will forever be the only place I trust to care for my beloved pets.

“The care and compassion this place has shown my dog is unbelievable. She needs some extra TLC when she needs her shots and they stepped right in. I am sad that they are closing but hopefully we will find some place that does the same kind of care in the future.”

“Everything went very well while I was there. Everyone there was very nice. They treated my kitten very well. I hadn’t been to an Animal clinic in quite some time and I didn’t think it was going to cost as much as it did. I’m sure it’s a lot less than a regular veterinary office.”
“Absolutely love Banfield Pet Hospital in Pleasant Hills. We are in the process of switching vets and all other vets had a 6-8 weeks wait. I made the appointment the night before. They have a great app and it is very user friendly. Took our male Akita there for ragweed allergies, which is a yearly issue. We got there early, they immediately got us checked in, did the exam, explained options and treated him within 40 mins and we were out the door. Our dog for the first time ever was very relaxed and comfortable. The Vet Tech; Amanda was very kind and affectionate to our dog. The vet Dr Marit Bakken was phenomenal. She took the time to answer our questions and explained options between allergy shots and allergy pills. We will most definitely be going back to Banfield Pet Hospital for all future problems and concerns.

They even took her outside and collected a urine and stool sample for me which felt above and beyond. The vet was clear, patient, and genuine. She sent me an incredibly detailed follow up after. “My vet was booked 2 months out so they said to go to Banfield in Caste, and they were right. I was there for the first time in an emergency, not life threatening but blood, and they were great. Toodles was so at ease with them, went right along like he'd been there before. They fixed him right up, explained what had happened and what to do. Easy, painless mostly, and the staff was so kind and friendly, and not in that annoying forced way, they are genuinely concerned for your companion.”

“Had a vet appointment today at riverside veterinary clinic today. First the receptionist was very accommodating with setting up and also rescheduled because I had to cancel my first appointment. When I arrived today they were very helpful and helped me with carrying my cat into the examining room which is difficult for me because I am on oxygen. Dr Mirro was very thorough. He checked temperature, ears, listened to his lungs and did xrays. I was pleasantly surprised that the bill was a lot lower than expected. Will continue bringing our pets to this clinic.”
