“Vince is the man, I love this place! I've dealt with these guys for over 4 years now and they do honest good work. They take on some serious challenges and the knowledge shows. If you want a personal and honest mechanic, this is the place to go. When my axle boot was torn, these guys hooked me up with a good estimate as well as the option for OEM once available. These guys are your old school real deal mechanics - I'd never feel bad about taking my car here, I know it gets done right. They are fantastic for inspections (the get my stickers nice and straight too!), oil changes, and everything else you can think of. You can not go wrong with Cadwalader.”

“Can not say enough good things about this place! The owner and staff are very knowledgeable and care about their customers. Had a dealer look at my car with a $900 estimate. Buddy of mine suggested I have Tom look at it. The issue wasn't what the dealer said, Tom found what the issue was, made the repair and charged me a little over $120. Car has been running great since then. Tom will be my go to mechanic from now on!”

“My typical mechanic was out this week. He recommend Wilkinsons' Tire & Auto. Called once, no answer. Called the second time and an older gentleman answered the phone with an impatient tone. I answered by saying, "How are you doing today?" After saying 'what' a couple of times, he said, "what do you want?" I promptly hung up.I'm happy to give them the benefit of the doubt. Perhaps he thought I was a telemarketer. If so, I'd be happy to change my review rating. Until then, it is what it is. I was unable to use their service, so that was not taken into consideration.--Update: The owner replied below, which I appreciate. I will keep the original post up, but have updated my review. It is at 4 stars because I was still unable to use their services. I trust my mechanic, and if he recommends them in his absence, then they are worth giving your business to. Check them out.”

“I accidentally hit a curb and SHREDDED my tire. I don't know the area well but Elkins Park Auto Works is right by me so I went there and I'm SO GLAD I did; I was panicking over choosing a place. It was a Thursday and I explained to the manager that I MUST have my car back by Saturday. He put air in the donut, ordered my tire immediately, and by noon Friday I was back home with a new tire! He even called me later to tell me I left my umbrella in the office, and noted two things I need to get taken care of on my invoice. Totally above and beyond service! I hope I don't need to come back for an emergency, but if I do I will be going here from now on, I won't even need to give it a second thought!Service: Tires”
