The YMCA - Glenwood Park is a massive, very clean facility with so much room and space that accommodates everyone, even when the parking lot looks packed. The establishment has made efforts to adjust to the times, including building a new section with weights and treadmills. Members note the equipment is clean, although sometimes in a little disrepair, such as non-working heart rate monitors or rust. Some wish for newer weights in the basement weight room and an online sign-up for the sauna. The child care service is described as AMAZING. The staff and desk clerks are noted as great, helpful, and friendly. Some frustrations include confusing hours, with one entrance door open, and a desire for more fitness classes throughout the day and longer operating hours. Many are long-term members who always leave feeling great.
