Evans City Ace Hardware is an outstanding, independently owned hardware store that is part of the local community. The store has a good variety of stuff, including hardware, tools, decorations, and grills. It also features a surprisingly well-stocked convenience store and grocery section. Employees are pleasant, super friendly, eager to help, and provide personal service, quickly pointing customers to what they need. The Saturday grill event is also noted. Prices are competitive, making it a convenient and helpful alternative to big box stores.
Now it can give you whiplash at first, seeing an Ace in a small town, but honestly it has some of the nicest and most helpful individuals. Needed a part to fix a toilet, found someone who knew their stuff and their recommendation saved us hundreds of dollars. Also, great sandwiches.

Great place that goes above and beyond to help their customers. Such a pleasant change from the big box stores. This one even has groceries available for purchase.
