“Love this mom-and-pop store -- it is a very important part of the community and important to so many people who cannot or choose not to frequent the large chain stores . It is no surprise that the Sanders family are all wonderful people.”
“Because Kennie's is a local IGA, they are a bit more expensive than chain stores. However, they always have great deals on meat, a vast deli with homemade sides, a great bakery, and the best rotisserie chickens around.”

“I have been to this place when I was a little boy. The only thing that surprises me is in fact that this was the original Gettysburg Sheetz which I have never been inside it when it was originally a Sheetz. That’s what makes me feel surprised.”

“This is our go to store when we are staying at the Cashtown Inn. There is always a good variety and the staff is always willing to help. We have been in there many times and never had something out of stock. They have closed the self checkout terminals. I have to admit usually we are in there for creamer, or just general muchies, but they have a little of everything.”
