“I had a really great stay at Penn Lodge. I was traveling with my 3-year-old son and needed a place that felt clean, safe, and convenient, and this ended up being a wonderful choice.

One of my favorite things was the 24/7 virtual check-in and check-out. I had never experienced that before. It was through a computer with a real person connected virtually, and the process was super quick and easy. It felt modern, efficient, and very convenient.

The room itself was very clean and felt updated. I loved the wood floors because they made the space feel fresh and spotless. The towels were spotless, and the room had everything I needed: complimentary water, phone chargers, an ironing board, a small kitchen area, and even vegan shampoo, conditioner, body lotion, and other thoughtful touches.

The staff was also very kind and helpful. A woman helped me find my room and even offered to get more sheets if I needed the sofa bed. I also believe I met the owner, and the whole place just had a very thoughtful, well-run feeling.

The only small things to note are that there was a moth in the room when I arrived, but I was going in and out with a lot of things, so that may have been why. Also, the room doors open directly to the outside, which I’m not used to and was a little nervous about at first, especially staying with my child. But I ended up feeling safe and comfortable. You can hear people coming and going nearby, but it didn’t bother us.

Overall, there were so many pros and only very minor cons. It was clean, convenient, thoughtfully stocked, and comfortable. I would definitely stay here again.”

Arrival night, Zaarish (thanks for the correction!) at the counter was very personable and tolerated out banter well. Made sure there was abundant coffee until 10pm and warded off all dragons - deserves a raise.

Departure, breakfast was great, and hot. Nancy on housekeeping was engaging upon talking in the hall as I was leaving the room and continued to serve by finding a lost item in our room - deserves a double bonus for sure and a raise.

Justin, at the counter for checkout was also very helpful and personable. He deserves to be the heir in line for ownership, and a raise.
