“I've been shopping at Wardrobe for the last 5 years, and Jonathan has really helped me shape up my wardrobe. I've been so happy with the compliments I've gotten that I've taken several friends there and they have all had extremely positive experiences as well. One of my friends is 5'9" and athletic build - and that means pants and sleeves are usually too short - but not here! Another friend is 4'11" and super petite, and again Jonathan has worked miracles to find them clothing that fits off the rack with little to no tailoring needed. Additionally, most of his brands are not available in malls, and many are made in the USA or Canada, not cheap imported stuff.During Covid I've been shopping online at Wardrobe, or calling Jonathan and having him send out gifts to friends and family for me. I miss going into the store, but appreciate having Jonathan send out my gifts for me.”

“I've been a member at the Pure Barre Chestnut Hill studio since May 2021. It was recommended to me by a friend as a great way to tone and burn before my wedding. It definitely has been! I've noticed a significant improvement in my strength and endurance. I see a noticeable difference in my arms, quads, and hamstrings. But even after these many months of taking class, it is still challenging. I appreciate that the classes are never the same (aside from the general format) and therefore never boring. My favorite classes are Empower and Reform. Liz was so welcoming from day #1 when I talked to her on the phone to learn more about Pure Barre and the Chestnut Hill studio. The instructors are all so genuinely kind and helpful, and their energy is contagious. I love that feedback and corrections are provided during class. It's always clean, busy, and joyful at the studio. Thank you PBCH!”

“Margaryta works magic with dresses! I have been to Margaryta before for bridesmaid dress alterations (which were perfect) and knew that she would be perfect for wedding dress alterations too! I had two dresses- a mikado ball gown with beading in the back for the ceremony and an a-line sparkle dress for the reception. Margaryta was able to completely rebuild the top of my reception dress to make it more comfortable for me (she was able to alter the dress from being a v-neck to a softer sweetheart with straps). She always took the time to talk through what I wanted and what I liked in my dress and listened so well. Every appointment with her was amazing and I left her store feeling comfortable and confident that the alterations were going to be perfect- and they were!”

“Love this shop! I moved from Philly to Bryn Mawr and was excited to have a trendy thrift store with parking 3 minutes from my house! The music and atmosphere are great and I find it relaxing to browse around every few weeks and see what’s new. It’s clean, the staff are very friendly and the items span basic $3 bin stuff to higher-end name brand…all priced very fairly.I found a dress for my bridal shower, practically brand new high top Vans sneakers, cozy sweaters for winter, dress pants and a top for a holiday party. I love the benefits of buying used for the environment, the thrill of the hunt, and getting a lot for a little. Hope this place sticks around for years to come! “I had a lovely experience trying on wedding dresses at Ashley's Bridal. My entourage and I arrived a little early for our appointment, but we we were welcomed in and allowed to start browsing the racks until our bridal consultant was ready for us. Connie was very knowledgeable and delightful to work with. She made many helpful suggestions for possible dress alterations - not only in terms of sizing but also in terms of adding additional layers or straps. As someone who regularly wears a size 16 dress, I was happy that Ashley's had so many sample dresses in styles I liked that I could try on.”

While it may seem like you're spending a lot at one time, it's worth it. I've selected key pieces that I continue to wear for years. I used to spend the same amount over time with a wardrobe that I didn't really like. Now I've collected good quality jackets, dresses, and blouses that I wear over and over, year after year. I also get my standard black pants there, which really fit right. A wonderful shopping experience.”
