Was in the area checking out the vintage stores with not much luck and we stopped in because of the beautiful coat in the window, soooo glad I did! “Stumbled into m concept Shop on a trip to Philly and it was by far one of the brighter spots in the trip. I had the chance to browse the racks with no one else in the shop besides Jared who was working. I felt like I was browsing the racks of a walk-in closet of my dreams. The designs, fabrics and silhouettes were like nothing I’d ever seen in a shop (& I’ve been to a lot). When I went to try on some pieces and came out to look in the mirror, Ethan (the owner) & some of their longtime friends and fans of the shop had come in. I felt like I was doing a fashion show with my dearest friends. Ethan is a bright and vibrant human and made me feel so so welcome. I walked away with an incredible green dress & blue ombré pants along with the most unique sunglasses! Instantly starred the shop when I left on my Google Maps and can’t wait to come back the next time I’m in town!”

“My friends and I have been going to this little gift shop for several years now and we will always keep coming back. I love how there has consistently been new items added in the shop every time I come back. I love buying the Blind boxes, keychains, Lego sets, stickers, and much more! Everything is so adorable inside and I love how cozy it is. The staff are also very polite and sweet. They answer any questions I may have. I also enjoy their 10% off any cash purchases over $10. There names are Ericka and Keesa!! I took the time on 12/9/2024 and sent Ashley Steward a email about my Amazing shopping experience because of these two employees!! I'm very disheartened to find out these employees didn't receive and acknowledgement from the company nor did I receive any feedback. “I just got married September 2026, and Anila helped put together the dress of my dreams! From the moment I stepped into her shop, she made me and my mother feel very welcome, very taken care of, and very heard. She handed us a bottle of water and sat us down to talk about not just the dress but the wedding in general and to get to know us as people which I thought was very kind and professional.
She takes incredible, sincere, pride in her work, and you could see that through everything she did. Anila is not just a seamstress or someone who performs alterations, she is truly a dressmaker and makes clothes and dresses from scratch, so a lot of mothers of the bride come here for a custom dress. She’s also a mother of two beautiful daughters and has gone through the wedding planning process herself, so has firsthand experience knowing what you are going through as a bride and as a mother of the bride.
I had bought a wedding dress without a lining, not knowing what an undertaking it would be to get the dress lined in the proper way. Without the lining, the dress was too sheer to wear, in my opinion, but when the I purchased it from the bridal boutique the store manager made it seem like it would be an easy enough alteration (I don’t think she knew any better unfortunately). When we brought the dress to Anila, she was very honest with us that she does not often see dresses sold in this condition and encouraged us to reach back out to the brand or the store we purchased it from to make sure this was how we were supposed to receive the dress. I really appreciated her candid nature and her willingness to help us figure out the situation. Because this truly was the dress I had tried on in the store, and we received it as the designer intended, we proceeded to work with Anila to put together a lining. Anila explained everything that she would have to do to add a lining to the dress along with the alterations and changing the buttons, as I had requested. Anila ended up giving us a quote that was outside my budget, but we had gone to her specifically because she had the best reviews in our area and we wanted to work with someone who was professional and who would do a good job. At the end of the day, it was well worth it, knowing that my dress was in good hands and turned out exactly as I had hoped. Anila had me come back for a few appointments to choose out the preferred fabric for the lining. She let me see it under the dress and try it on. She also helped me figure out if I wanted to add a lining to the front and back of the bustier or just the front. She helped me come to conclusions about all the tiny details of the dress that I hadn’t imagined, and reassured us that she was using the best fabrics and had gone out of her way to even go into New Jersey to buy a fabric for my dress. She took into account my slight weight fluctuations that happened due to wedding stressors, and helped iron out last-minute details I asked for on the dress. She also helped create a custom veil for me to go with my dress, which I loved and got so many compliments on. In the end, it was so beautiful, and I felt beautiful on my wedding day because of all the work she did. Thank you Anila! 💍💒”
