“Took my dog here for the first time last weekend for some treats for his birthday. What a great experience. The staff was amazing to him with lots of pets and compliments. They bake their own treats every day and the prices were affordable! Will 100% be back.”

“Went there for my senior dog license while I was there. I checked out the numerous treats . I got punkin spice sticks, which help aid in removing plaque, and I got some beef sausages. All 3 of my dogs enjoyed both. I will certainly return when I am in the area. It is a small pet store with a lot of variety, and the staff is friendly and knowledgeable.”
“This place is the BEST place to get your dog groomed. We took our dog who we rescued and is very anxious, and they did a wonderful job. Then we took my mom’s dog who never been groomed before due to his anxiety and they were great with him. Sydney/Cindy did such an amazing jobs our the pups!”
“I was thrilled to find a nearby self-serve dog wash, and at such a great price for what they provide. Washing them at home vs at a facility that has all that’s needed makes a huge difference in how they smell and how clean they come out. They smelled heavenly with the array of shampoos and colognes they had. Will for sure come back more frequently!”

“My family and I stopped in on a whim. I was pleasantly greeted with my wife and kids! Soar was in that Saturday and it was nice to visit them due to adopting our one cat from. I would say the shelves looked stocked and very clean. Speaking about clean I would like to commend the team! I must say the animal enclosures ALL looked clean with fresh food and water! Don't even get me started on the fish tanks!!! I mean that in the best possible way! They all looked immaculate!! Especially the feeder tank and the koi tank! A big thank you to Rhonda and Lisa for everything that day!”
“Let me begin by saying, John cares about all his reptiles and wants to make sure you’re set up for success! I was in the market for a Russian tortoise and he happened to have one. I called the day before and spoke with him about this tortoise in particular. He raises his reptiles from the time they are born and sets them up for success as well. He spent an ample amount of time walking me through how to care for her. And even picked some dandelions for her to come home with ! Thank you John for all the help! I am looking forward to a lifetime of love from our new girl. ?”

“Deceptively small from the outside, but this Petco has a wide variety of essentials. The aquatics section in particular is why I've come back here - whoever takes care of their fish really, really cares, and it shows. Everything is healthy and there are plenty of plants to choose from on top of everything! The staff have been nothing but patient and helpful. My favorite one to go to by far”
“I just got my bullie taste of the wild and they had the only place I was so happy they had Victor but not the puppy and small one can you please make one so I had to buy the taste of the wild with bison & Roasted Version I don't want to give him any fishy food for now you have to be be very careful with bullies so that one I got big bag thank for carrying it you have made a costumer of me ? and I love your bully toys ??”

“The woman who runs the rescue with her husband, she is an animal lover down to her core. My husband and I just adopted to 1 year old cat siblings and we are so happy! This woman has shared with us what she has seen and dealt with during her years of doing this, she's been doing this since 1983, that's a lot of animals she's seen neglected, abused and dropped of by idiotic people for idiotic reasons. She's seen a lot. People saying she was "rude to them" honestly, in my opinion, just expected her to act like a petsmart employee ? which is ridiculous. This woman has negative reviews by people who ONLY leave other negative reviews for other businesses. They just seem like Karen's who expect people to be exactly how they want them to be. Not every place, is the costumer right and that's what the people leaving negative reviews about her attitude EXPECT. And that's just wrong. If anything, my husband and I are THE biggest animal lovers and we love her and understand she only wants what's best for the animals. She isn't there to suck up to you so you take animals off her hands. That's not how she runs it, and we appreciate that bc that's how it should be. We love the cats we got from her and we appreciate what she's done for 1000s and 1000s of animals she's taken care of for these past 40+ years. She deserves way better reviews than she's gotten. It's important to have reviews that are honest, 100%. But please remember, those people leaving the reviews are often the hardest people to please and particularly miserable. If your looking for a place that cares more about the animals health and happiness over giving you the "costumer service" treatment. Please try this place out.”

“we usually stop at this pet store whenever we are in the area , having bought a cocker spaniel here many years ago we've become pretty familiar with the store. the area where the pets are kept is ALWAYS amazingly clean ... never a hint of smell from puppy "accidents". the pets are kept clean and appear very well cared for ... as made obvious by the DON'T WAKE UP SLEEPING PUPPIES and the DO NOT PHOTOGRAPH THE PETS signs making it clear that they have a great respect for the pets and their well being. the staff is very friendly and knowledgeable, offering great advice on the right breed for us as well as what to expect etc etc. the cocker spaniel we bought came with a health warranty ( not sure if this is still available) and we took it to our veterinarian of choice to be checked out within a week of purchase ... the dog was declared to be in excellent health and the doctor said that she was very well cared for at the store , something he was impressed with.the cocker spaniel went on to be a cherished member of my family for 16 years. if / when we decide to get another puppy we will return to the The Pet Shop in Whitehall with complete confidence that we are getting a healthy and cared for puppy.”

“Clean remodeled, but missing common things like koi in the Fish Department, and certain cat foods, I really think maybe this is a b grade store, since they're not stocking things regularly, there are some other common things that seem to be missing her out of stock so I don't know if there's shortages going on or just the store or Regional issue would be nice to know, it'd be nice to have a store that is fully stocked but unfortunately this store doesn't seem to be it.”
