“I was driving down 309 and had a sudden urge to pull into the driveway of nine live thrift! And I am so glad I did! Jeff had helped me find exactly what I needed for my son! My five-year-old now has a complete Xbox 360. Thanks to Jeff helping me. This guy is a keeper! You guys are awesome to keep up the great work. 10 out of 10 highly recommended”
“Stopped in based on great reviews and I was not disappointed. The owner was friendly and helpful. The store was so tidy, organized and full of unique finds. I'll be back!”
“Visited the clearance store (around back) and had a wonderful experience! Lovely sales woman, excellent prices, and I walked away with a fur coat for $80!
Oldest reseller on the east coast”
“This thrift store is a hidden gem. Very great prices and deals and I almost always leave with 2+ items! Although it is a small store, it is mighty and the workers are very friendly!”
“Thank you sooooo much! this food will help get us through this temporary tough time. An extra thank you for the coffee and almonds. I am grateful and blessed Have a great week!”
“Great store with cheap quality items. I put 4 starts because the customer service wasn’t great got immediate hardy when the cashier swiped my card. Overall good thrift shop.”
“To me it was actually an awesome experience, I called and asked if he had blenders, and he said he sure did, and when I actually went the location, I walked out with two blenders”
“This Plato’s closet definitely has a larger selection than others. The staff seem to lack hospitality though, that’s the only reason I chose to give 4 stars.”
“Great Deals and amazing finds!! I really enjoy it here. The items are generally in good shape and for the price you just can't beat it. You just never know what treasures and hard to find items you may pick up here. Staff is also great and very clean inside. Would go back when I am in the area.”
“Prices are sometimes really off but if you look not so hard you will find good deals. I got a lot of items for 99 cents because the tag colors on them were 50 percent off that day. I had to use the bathroom and waited kind of long for them to unlock it and the workers seem underpaid and unhappy for some reason but other than that I like it here.”

“Entering the shop, the layout and displays can feel a bit overwhelming at first, but they truly offer a fantastic selection for both men and women. The young children’s section felt a little unorganized compared to the rest, but still had some good finds. This is the place you go with patience and time. The staff were polite, and welcoming. They accept both cards and cash, but do not accept $100 bills, so keep that in mind before shopping. If you tend to be someone who carries cash, check that you have small bills. There are also plenty of signs throughout the store indicating which items have additional discounts and which do not, which I found helpful. This was my first time visiting, and once I got used to the setup, I felt I navigated it well. I highly recommend going when you’re not in a rush and in a relaxed state of mind, as some areas are quite dense and take time to sort through. Overall, a good experience with lots of potential treasures. Some items have the tickets stapled onto the garment, be careful removing them at home. You don’t want to ruin the item. Parking can be a bit cramped and getting in or out of the establishment is also a bit uncomfortable, the main road is really busy.”
“a good all-around store for clothing some housewares glasses dishes etc.. pricing is a little all over the price on some things.. Good deals on weekly color sales.
you never know what you're going to find. but if you see something that you want get it. it usually won't last long there.”
“It really is a place where people donate things they don't want or need but they are almost always in very good condition...they are put up for sale at a reasonable price.”
