The biggest difference is the bread for both sandwiches. It was like a Stromboli Shell used as the roll. It was different, but very good. The hoagie meat was not Philly style, but overall it was a tasty sandwich. I stop here every time I go to watch trains in Gallitzin. Friendly staff and the store is stocked with the essentials you might need. The food here blows anything that Scheetz offers away- not even close. Worth the stop!”

“Nice cashier working today 11/10. I went to buy something from behind the counter and she told me I could save if I bought two. Clean woman’s restroom. They have a paved lot for semi trucks in the back with a decent amount of spots. Dining area to eat and heat up your food. Coffee/tea and soda machine. Good selection of snacks and drinks to choose from. They don’t have much hot n ready food. I just saw a few breakfast sandwiches and some candied nuts in the case to choose from so I opted for one of there cold meals and just warmed it up there. Not bad at all for $7.99 and a decent amount of food. Much better than the fried Arby’s I’m used to eating at truck stops.”

“Not much for leaving reviews, BUT….i had an issue here with gift cards and gas today (Sunday 2:09 pm , 7/12/26) and the manager wearing the red shirt in charge who was making a food order already stopped, came over to the counter, listened to what I was asking and was extremely helpful, and made me feel like an actual customer; unlike a lot of situations I’ve had at other Sheetz in the past couple years. I wish I saw her name so I could give her a shout out appropriately, but figured I’d at least do this much. If you can figure out who this is, she deserves praise. Thank you Mystery Manager !!”

The Iowa retailer, the third-largest convenience store operator in the country, built its new three-year plan around three priorities: store growth, food and beverage expansion, and kitchen technology upgrades. The company plans to add 120 stores during the current fiscal year. Its previous plan, launched in 2023, delivered more than 500 new stores and earned the company a spot in the S&P 500.
