“After getting my Me Day started (hair salon), I went to Walmart to get a replacement television I saw online for $88. They were out of stock so I looked at what they had and found one. A day in the life of a single mom, mt autistic sons' tv audio blew out and I gave him my tv so I ended up getting the new one until his breaks passing down.”
“Located in place which nearby to many popular shops, this Walmart gives quite some choices. Their pharmacy is good in terms of the interactions both over phone and directly. The staff is friendly and communicates clearly about processes they follow and the medicines. Far better in all those aspects compared to the other options I tried in nearby places - CVS.”
“I like this store. The staff is always so nice, they have lots of interesting things to buy. Their prices are fantastic, it's similar to several other department stores, but their prices are usually much much lower. If you haven't been there, you should definitely take a look, there is absolutely something for everyone.”
“This store is the best and cheapest around everything you need for your home and hygiene products they have and cheapest around and I would always recommend this store. The people there are so nice and helpful for whatever you need.”
“Great store great products great prices this place has a large candy selection,a medium Grind yourself coffee area. It packs a lot into a little small space and produce is always fresh and aromatic they carry shin black, and for that alone, they get my business”
“This place has everything!!! Literally. If you are having a baby shower there's a whole aisle for you. If you're throwing a Valentine's party, there's a whole aisle for that too! Don't forget to check out their automotive section. In the kitchen section I found cookie cutters I have been looking for, for about 2 weeks, and I paid 1.49 for 5 metal cutters. Like I said from lawn decor to party supplies and from bakeware to broom closet items, whatever you're looking for these guys will almost certainly have it. Don't forget to check out their eagles section too.”
“I had an amazing experience at this location. Kevin had exceptional customer service. He welcomed customers with a smile, care, and joy. This location exemplifies the base for customer service! Kudos to the team!”
“This FiveBelow was very nice very clean the staff was extremely pleasant and helpful The young lady told me where I was going but also proceeded to walk me to where I had to go also she went above and beyond and she was The only one working up front My experience here was Great”
“Good Evening Google Family. I really liked this location of Dollar Tree. I bought 2 sets of aluminum pans to cook my sausage patties and hash browns in. Also I bought 2 Hefty gallon bags, the plastic kind that come with about 5 or 6 individuals inside. This location is huge and it has everything. I will definitely come to this location to shop again. I really like the staff here as well. Have a great night Google Family. Good evening Google Family. I visited today since I enjoy coming here on Thursday, March 19th. They always have everything that I need. It is a nice, large store and that is why they always have everything. I loved that they had the Doritos snack bags, the Nacho cheese flavor for $2.50. I am not crazy about paying $2.50 for them but I do. Since the dollar tree is not a dollar anymore, I am clueless as to why they don't change the name to Dollar Plus. Everything in the store is now $1.25, $1.50 or $1.75. or $5.00. Most of the Dollar tree stores do not carry the nacho cheese Doritos, they have the ranch or the spicy hot, never the nacho cheese. So it is always a treat for me to find them at a dollar tree. I am purchasing them for my movie tomorrow so that I can have snacks since the movie theater food is ridiculously overpriced. The Dollar Tree associate name was Miss Leslie and she was polite. My total was $25.26 and I paid by cash. I had a good experience here today. Have a good night, workout, be active and mobile, fit and fabulous especially for people over the age of 50 years.”
“When I lived in the neighborhood, this store was one of my favorite hangouts. They had everything, including cute handbags and clothing that was original yet inexpensive. They had a backroom that featured a variety of creative and abstract 8'x10' rugs. She picked out the cutest outfits that were cheap yet stylish. It was a one-stop shop for all, and they knew everyone from the neighborhood. I often say that I am going back to visit. I need to!”
“Shyniece is AWESOME. ABSOLUTELY AMAZING. She knows her business. I don't know wht they make per hr but, she she be promoted or given a RAISE!!!!! Keep SHINING young lady.”
“We love getting what we can here because the employees are so kind and wonderful. They really go out of their ways to be welcoming and friendly and helpful. So we always end up having a great experience! We hope the employees will always get all the support and recognition because they’re who keep us coming back!”
“Deals is an amazing selection of items you may need, even if you don't know what you need yet. If you see it on the shelf grab it; it may not be there next visit. Example: snow shovels. Almost everything with the limited space, the cashier's are helpful and pleasant. Thanks Deals!”
“I was in the Prospect Park Dollar Tree this morning, hunting for air dry clay, which I recently learned was sold there. I asked Tiffany, and she walked me to the clay (which I had walked past three times)! I told her that she was the star of the day! Thank you, Tiffany!”
“This is one of those stores where you walk in looking for a strainer and you walk out with a screwdriver, an outlet extender, latex gloves, 3 lottery tickets, and a turkey baster. You forgot the strainer, rinse and repeat. Seems to be run by a nice Korean family, it's a good alternative to Daiso since there isn't one anywhere around here. Recommend you explore the aisles, you'll see things you didn't know you needed. The tool/hardware section is surprisingly well stocked. My one caveat is that I wish they didn't sell betta fish, they usually don't look like they're doing very well.”
“Good evening Google Family. I have patronized this location of Dollar Tree many times. Today, I encountered construction there in the Lawrence Park parking lot of the shopping center. I looked for my items, purchased them on the self check out, which I love and then I left after using the cart there. Good night Google Family, don't forget to work out, be healthy, fit and Fabulous!!!!”
“It looks a new shop. I was unable to find what I expected from this shop: however it was a clean and well organized shop even though some shelves and spaces are empty.”
“Be careful going to 5 below it's cheap for a reason because you can spend a million bucks in here. I spent 400.00in here the other day. They have a lil bit of everything and for five bucks you need it all and you buy it all. Cashiers are friendly and security is to. Safe area with plenty of parking”
“Usually a Dollar Tree I enjoy visiting, especially for their large shelf stable food availability. It's hit or miss that they have cat litter available ( but that's common at most DTs).”
“I visited this dollar tree, and ring up with with cashier Joanne. She was respectful and quick to ring us up! Great service, overall great place for easy bargains!”
“Love the dollar tree. The staff are all really nice. I will say that the one in Andorra is 10 times better than the one in Ivy Ridge Shopping Center. I'm Andorra there's more items, it's always clean and organized and easier to find time without having to dig through each shelf.”
“So for all of you that have never been to Philly before parking is crazy. It's better to walk. Other than not having parking spaces to park your vehicle. The store was very big. It had a lot of items to choose from things that I've never seen in my home state. If I was ever in Philly I would definitely go back to this five and below.”
“Me and My friend visit this dollar store regularly. We love how it is easy to walk to and always has a great selection for all of our tastes. not to metion the awesome seasonal sales. This dollar store has been and will continue to be a core part of our childhood,”
“My neighborhood go-to grocery store. Lovely people, very helpful. And there's a wonderful cashier with such a warm smile and attitude that makes you feel right at home. A truly warm gentleman.”
“I’ve come here on a few occasions and have had nothing but pleasant experiences all the times I’ve been here. The store as a whole was pretty decent would definitely come back again in the future.”
“Love this place! A variety of things. Aluminium baking pans galore. Check out the discount bin to the right of the front doors. Was able to snag heavy sweatshirts for $2 in a plus size! Reminds me of the old 5 and dime stores from my childhood.”
“The Manager and staff are extremely nice and helpful. when I accidently put too much money in a checkout machine, 2 employees dropped what they were doing, shut down the machine, and helped me get my money back. I am eternally gratful. My friends and I love going her. It is a great store with awesome customer services.”
“Always so helpful, They have a couple of items in there that you can only find at this hair store which is another reason why I love this one so much. In and out, I wish they would expend the size of they store. Because I'm in a wheelchair and there's a lot of the store I can't access because of the store size but other than that even with the fact that there's places in the store that I can get to their always willing to lend a hand to help me get the items I need. Prices are to be expected we are pretty much the same everywhere you go not too high, not to low. Right in the middle.”
“Place was packed just prior to the Christmas season so the store was a buzz. The staff was very helpful and friendly. When I asked about getting a bag, the cashier apologized and said if I wanted a bag they needed to charge for it. The funny thing wasI was buying gift bags along with my other purchases, so I didn't need to pay for additional bags.”
Burlington Stores is giving its locations a major makeover. The off-price retailer has already transformed about half of its 1,115 stores and plans to complete the redesign across its entire fleet by the end of 2026. The company calls this makeover "Store Experience 2.0." Gone are the cramped aisles and confusing layouts that once defined discount shopping. Instead, Burlington is creating wider walkways, organized sections, and clearer signs to help shoppers find what they need.
Dollar General is adding more of its private label food offerings to stores, following similar moves by big retailers like Walmart and Amazon as store brands keep growing in popularity. The store is launching new items under its own labels, including ice cream, cinnamon rolls, coffee syrups, and salad dressings. The move comes as store brand sales reached $271 billion in 2024, up nearly 4% from 2023.
Daiso, the beloved Japanese retailer known for its variety of affordable household goods, is expanding further in the U.S. market. This week, the company is celebrating the grand openings of three new stores in Texas and California. On Saturday, Aug. 10, Daiso debuted an 8,000-sq.-ft. location in Beaumont, Texas, at Dowlen Towne Center, as well as two Southern California stores - a 6,319-sq.-ft. space in Van Nuys at Mid Valley Marketplace and a 5,200-sq.-ft. store in Westminster at Westminster Center.
Dollar Tree is moving into 170 former 99 Cents Only stores, marking a big shift in the discount retail landscape. The company announced Wednesday it's taking over leases in Arizona, California, Nevada, and Texas, with plans to reopen the stores under its own brand as early as fall 2024.
Ollie's Bargain Outlet just landed a great deal of its own, winning a $14.6 million bankruptcy auction for 11 former 99 Cents Only store locations across Texas. The discount retail chain pounced after 99 Cents Only abruptly went out of business in March, shuttering all 371 of its stores in California, Arizona, Texas, and Nevada. Ollie's quickly made an opening "stalking horse bid" to grab over a dozen of the empty properties.
