“My son just moved to Harrisburg from Michigan. We needed to find him an apartment on very short notice. Amanda to the rescue! She was so helpful and just fantastic to work with. With her assistance, we viewed the apartment and moved him in the very next day. We were so relieved to have him settled in before we had to leave. Thanks again, Amanda!!”
“I didn't actually rent at this apartment, but I had a great customer service experience through Matthew who always answered my questions every time I called. If he didn't know the answers he would get back to me and he always did”
“I had a great experience with Brittany she was very helpful and was always available when I called her with the move in process and explained everything perfectly!”
“The current management team (Janet, Kelly, and Tina) are great to work with. They are all very pleasant and helpful. The maintenance team is very good, as well. I love my apartment and the location of the building in downtown Harrisburg. It is convenient to the transit bus station, the Amtrak station, and the UPMC Hospital is nearby. Another tenant, Terry Brown, also gives the management team an A+.”
“See these apartments searching on the web so I call set up an appointment and I'm moving soon. Staff very polite and patient with me. Tour came awesome, love the environment and We will have a garage ( this was a must on my searching criteria). Elizabeth the manager set up a tour for me even though she was going on vacation. The young gentleman that took care of me he was very polite and took all the time I needed to take care of me ,then next day my husband came to see the Townhouse apartments and we are approved and we are moving soon. Thanks for everything.”
“Just left after a little under 3 years here.
Overall, the stay was great. Johnathan and the maintenance team always handled any issues swiftly and without any complications. The price is pretty affordable, with multiple benefits that help lower costs. Utility fees are a flat monthly rate ($50 as of writing this) that include water, gas, electric, and trash, I was not charged any monthly pet fees, and the parking garage, while paid for, is climate controlled so I never had to worry about scraping and defrosting the car during the winter months.
For cons: while the other apartment tenants are generally quiet, downtown Harrisburg itself is very noisy. Motorcycles and loud cars revving their engines at 3am, fireworks from the baseball stadium after nighttime games, etc.
I lived on the side facing the hospital, so having any blinds open took a bit away from any sense of privacy IMO.
My main negative is for the heating/air conditioning. The apartment ran on 'seasonal' cycles, so warmer air during the winter months and cooler/cold air during summer and spring, and you really only control if your wall unit(s) is on/off. This led to winter months being brutally warm in my room as all the heat rose from other units. Just be prepared to buy some fans or window units if you don't like running hot.”
