“I attend the AICUP presidents event at this venue annually for many years and we have had excellent experiences each and every time. The hotel has easy parking, accommodating staff, beautiful ambience, and clean rooms and conference areas. The food is excellent- as we have had catered breakfast lunch and dinner each year. This year I especially loved our wait staff for our university presidents' dinner last night. They were so friendly and personable. They really made the entire dining experience wonderful.”

“Amazing and kind staff! Absolutely adored them. The pool was sooo nice for the kids and 11am check out allowed us lots of morning time.
Rooms were clean and comfortable.
My only qualms were that the shower temperatures were difficult to control and turn (push in and turn) and breakfast was pretty much just continental. There are 2 waffle makers, but the circuit kept blowing when 2 were operating together.”

“Overall it’s a very decent hotel, friendly staff, and very beautifully decorated for the holidays. Only things that stood out was the smell of chlorine down the hall on the first floor because of the pool; the walls are kind of thin (I could hear kids running up and down in their room or the hall well past 10p); the closet had a portion of something that might be mold; and the shower diverter was not fully functional as half the water came up through the shower and the other half went out into the bathtub so I felt like the water was being wasted. Overall it’s nice and decent. Ooo and they provide Dove products as well as sanitizing wipes. Definitely would stay here again.”

“I've done quite a bit of traveling, and always mindful of my budget. There aren't many states I haven't visited or brands of hotel that I haven't stayed in. And at this particular location of Quality Inn, everything was excellent... Among the best I've ever had... From the condition of the room, to the customer service at check in and check out, to breakfast... Everything was very nice and as it should be. Couldn't recommend it more highly, in fact I did just recommend it to a friend with guests coming from out of the area. One caveat though: I did look into a Quality Inn at another location and sad to say it was basically a toilet. Absolutely awful. So management counts... I can only vouch for this particular location. Again one of the best I've ever experienced.”

“Nice hotel undergoing significant renovations. I imagine the final product is going to look really nice but, in the interim, there are some inconveniences.
First and foremost, the staff at the hotel was amazing. Every single person was friendly and accommodating. There was a big dance convention as well as several hockey teams staying at the hotel and the staff went above and beyond to help. Housekeeping was fast and responsive and the Front Desk employees were awesome.
The updated rooms are nice but on the smaller side. We were unable to find any double-queen rooms and it's really difficult to fit two adults in a double bed comfortably. The bathrooms, in particular, are cramped. If someone is at the sink, you can't be in the bathroom with them unless you're standing in the tub.
The fitness facility is currently closed and the temporary facility is essentially a treadmill and weight bench. All other fitness equipment is tarped off near the pool.
Indoor/outdoor pool is open but not really maintained. When we arrived, there were a significant amount of leaves in the pool. The biggest challenge of having a connecting pool with a courtyard is that the leaves that fall outside often make their way indoors. Fortunately, I found a skimmer and spent about 20 minutes getting the pool usable for our group. I imagine the courtyard is really nice in the summer but the indoor pool could use some TLC.
The restaurant and bar are part of the big renovation and "closed", but the staff did a nice job of creating a makeshift bar and seating area. There is a breakfast served somewhere in the hotel each morning.
The other nice thing about the hotel is its proximity to a shopping center with some eateries and a Target. We needed some odds and ends while we were here and it's about a 5-minute walk to almost anything you need.
Overall, a good hotel and I bet it'll be great when they finish the massive renovations. It's also an easy 15-minute drive to Hershey attractions.”

The family we were traveling with booked a different Candlewood suites in the area. Nila went above and beyond to make sure we were all together. If that’s not superior customer service I don’t know what is. Thank so much again Nila !!”

“The staff is very friendly and helpful. The place seemed clean and didnt have unpleasant odor. I was expecting hot tub, but it and the pool were broken. the fire alarms on the 2nd floor went off around 10 pm, everybody went down to lobby and it was a false alarm. Apparently this had been happening for several nights in a row and guests were concerned. Since these are kitchenettes someone could be cooking. Reasonable. The weird part was around 1 AM the light under the microwave went on by itself. Neither my husband nor myself had turned it on. The light went off again by itself while we were sleeping. No reasonable explanation because nothing else was affected...management have a clue?”

“The staff were accommodating, but the rooms were awful. When we first got to our room and opened door there was water everywhere from a malfunctioning fridge and the lights didn't work. Our 2nd room was very dirty and the toilet kept clogging up, I had to get a plunger from staff.”
“Was going to cancel based solely on reviews. I'm glad I didn't. The first person I ran into couldn't speak English . She immediately went for someone who took care of check ins.He was very friendly. He let me check in early. The room was spotless. Bathroom same way. The elevator was fine.I unloaded our car and went to pickup my wife at her seminar.She was concerned about the negative reviews also.We were both really happy with the accommodations.The breakfast was really wonderful.Everything was covered. They had a great assortment of goodies.We will stay here again.”

Rooms: Rooms were decent for the most part.
