“I contacted Penn about damage to a chain link fence caused by two massive branches that came down. I had assumed that the company would only cover repairs to the fence, but the agent advised me that he could also compensate me for the cost of hiring a landscaper to cut and remove the debris (less, of course, the deductible). He cut the check before I even knew if the fence repair would include tax. The agent explained that if that happened, I could let him know and he could issue a second check to cover the cost of taxes. It turns out that I didn't have to pay taxes on the repair. The check arrived from Penn promptly. I have nothing bad to say about my experience.”
