“My experience with Larry was nothing but the best when getting a passport. at the time of going to get my passport, I had realized I forgot my license, Larry reassured me that it would still arrive on time before my vacation! The next week I went back to actually get my passport because I had my license this time and Larry even remembered us! he was super personable and made the whole experience overall great. He took great care of us and we had a fun time talking to him.”
“This place was amazing! I began the process of renewing my passport. The postal worker was very thorough, extremely patient and helpful when needed I had any questions! !! Both workers quickly moved the line along. I was the only one that was there more than 15 minutes. They were so informative and efficient, so the line moved like a well oiled machine! Maybe, I caught them on a good day! But I doubt it; I feel like this is the norm for this post office. ..”
“The woman today was very helpful. The last time I went in and try to use a flat rate box that should have been $21 and some cents I was told it would cost me $50 to send. I was only sending a box of Pop-Tarts and a box of Twinkies to Germany. Needless to say my friend is not getting his sweets. But today the woman was very very helpful. “This is a regular-size USPS with full services. The free car park in front has about two dozen spaces. There are interesting stone guardian statues of stylistic mail eagles set flanking the top of the stairs leading to the front entrance (see photos ). There is also a long ramp for wheelchair access at the side. The postmaster was very friendly and helpful.”
“Just took a package to the Swissvale Post Office and not only was it clean and organized, but the service was great. Didn't get the name of the young woman who helped me. She was so pleasant and not that fake niceness one often encounters.”

“This is a full service Post Office located in Verona PA. They also process passport applications or renewals (check rates online).They can snap passport photos (extra $15) on the spot.Note that on Saturdays, they do not take walk-ins for passports, and appointments are needed (make appointments via the USPS passport application site). Even on other days, it is always better to have an appointment to be sure.The separate passport fee (check rates online) payable to the Department of State has to be via a personal check, or money order (not via credit or debit cards). If you forgot your checkbook, the post office can sell you a money order.There is no actual parking I can see at the post office itself. There is a small carpark right next to it, but that is reserved only for Enterprise customers so do not park there. However, there are ample street parking on the streets around the post office. That includes parts of Allegheny Ave and South Ave (where there are 2 hours free parking signs - see photos).The post office staff are pleasant and professional, and all transactions were done quickly and competently.”
