“Good old fashioned customer service! It’s great to find there are still stores with knowledgable employees. Whenever I stop there, they always help me with anything I need. It’s a small hardware store that seems to have exactly what you’re looking for, without having aisles and aisles of useless things that don’t belong. When I have trouble finding something, the staff knows exactly where to send me. Today was a perfect example. I needed a simple hose clamp and couldn’t find it. The guy at the counter points to the aisle, says halfway down right hand side right where the glass case ends. Exactly right! No need to roam around for 25 min or try to use a store app which tells you the wrong aisle anyway. They also carry every Milwaukee tool a guy could ever want! Like I said, old fashioned service! There’s no comparison.”

“A true gem!! Friendly, helpful and convenient and right in the heart of town. Heiser’s has been saving the day for us for years!! Its great to be able to get hardware and parts right in Mahanoy city without having to trek out for a drive. We have been coming in for over a decade and I know the Heisers’ have been serving the community way longer than that. They also carry hard to find items like coal buckets. Can’t say enough nice things about Heiser’s!!!”
