“My wife and I are originally from the coal region and currently live in NC. Every time we come back to visit family and friends, we load up the cooler with great meats,cheese, and other coal region favorites that we can't get down south. The staff is very attentive and friendly.”

Another good place for Shamokin residents to receive gas, honestly, doesn’t really provide me a lot to write home about. You can judge it for your own benefit.”
“I am a regular because I live locally but I love most of the staff. They are friendly. Very clean compared to other dollar general stores. Good deals lately. The only issue is once in a awhile they are out of Mean green and other local stores don't have it so that is a bit disappointing but I can usually 9 times out 10 find everything I need. “This is a great place to buy stuff in bulk. They have large bags of stuff that a lot of the local businesses use, like French fries, mozzarella sticks, onion rings, hot cheese cubes (my personal favorite) and soooooo much more...they also get some really good ice cream. Staff is always very polite, professional and helpful....and they're always very sweet to my children.”
“Good store for a small town like treverton. Although it's a roll of the dice when the employees can be nice because other moments a wet paper bag can be happier then some of the employees. Also the entrance needs more lights so people can actaully see where the road is before someone goes over the mulch next to the road. Although Good selection of things for your home, workplace, etc. Cant get any more convenient then that.”

“I stop at Mount Carmel Turkey hill daily. They do a good job and they are usually stocked up pretty good. Kudos to people who are in customer service, they deal with some pretty shifty people. I stopped going in at the wee morning hours when I go to work but overall they have nice staff and a clean store.”

“I had to run into this Walmart in Coal Twsp. It was clean, well stocked, busy and yet I was in and out in 15 minutes. I was pleasantly surprised how clean the store was. With the amount of people inside things are usually all out of place and items just thrown around where they don't belong.”
“This was to be a 4 star rating, needed to edit for it somehow posted as just 3. Anyway, 4 stars based on the parking area, fuel island and the entrance. I can tell who the regulars are by their caution when pulling in. Some idiot just about ran me over as I was walking back to the pump. She was in such a rush to get that 1 of the 3 open spaces in front of the store, that she failed to see directly in front of her. And I thought my days of moving quickly were long gone...
The associates are all GREAT!! I don't live far from this store so I'm there often and I have yet to see any of the employees being anything other than cheerful, as opposed to just about every other store. Obviously the Kulpmont location has a secret, lol.”
