“This review is specifically for the restaurant. The TA truck stop nearby is much busier, and the hours for this restaurant are more limited, but if you stop by when they’re open, go here instead. Food is much better, diner food where someone takes pride in their work. If you get there at the right time you can listen in on the regulars jawboning with the servers. Bathrooms inside where the restaurant/store is located are very clean.”
“We had a flat tire on a Friday evening. The people here could not have been kinder. They gave us great advice. The bathroom was fresh and clean. As was the rest of the store. Great place stop along I-80.”

“Traveling through and wanted to stop for coffee,snacks and a bathroom break. Was greated by Linda, a great employee, friendly and helpful. This is absolutely the cleanest BP I have ever visited. It even smelled clean! Bathrooms were spotless! I have never been this impressed! Good Job!”

“I would give the people here 7 stars if I could. I stopped here in the middle of a work trip to use the restroom. While inside, a semi-truck driver hit my car and fled the scene. Jackie, Ryan, and their Manager (didn’t get his name) were the most accommodating, thoughtful, and resourceful people I have ever met. I was stranded hours from home, but their hospitality made waiting for a ride the smoothest thing ever. The surrounding gas stations could be handing out winning lottery tickets and I would still choose this place to stop at (I’d pick a more strategic parking spot, though ). Thank you so much for all your help.”
“Food is good and has alot of the necessities. Prices are not bad either.Employees are usually very young and more interested in hanging out with their friends than they are working. They are always joking around and talking to each other instead of interacting with the customers at the checkout. Also how come there is a distinct smell in the store that I always smell like when walking out? I usually drive farther to the Dollar General because I can't stand the smell.”

“Very convenient for anyone living in or traveling through Petrolia. It's true that their prices are a little high but I've never had an issue with credit cards not being accepted or gas pumps not working... things that happen in other small towns.”

“Absolutely blown away by the service from Hope and Claire! We came in with a completely unannounced and unplanned order for 12 pizzas, and these two handled it like absolute pros. They were friendly, sincere, calm under pressure, and made the whole experience feel easy.
Not only was the customer service top notch, but every pizza came out flawless and right on point. You can tell they genuinely care about what they do and about the people they’re serving.
Keep these two around. It’s getting harder and harder to find good people with great attitudes and work ethic like Hope and Claire. They made a stressful situation feel effortless. Thank you both!”

“I live locally for most of the year and always go here for fuel, snacks, hot pre-made foods, etc., and have honestly always had a good experience. This is a pretty active exit on I-80 to stop for fuel, food, and restroom- it's about 20 miles in either direction to find the next gas station, so we see a lot of traveler traffic here. It's just a small, rural intersection- but the employees are always nice, and they sell the things we need.”
