“Down-home country store, with very friendly people. And a surprisingly complete selection of good and functional food for such a small and unassuming place; phenomenal fried chicken and assorted warm dishes, fabulous baked goods, nice selection of lunch and supper meats, cold sandwiches and sides, wide array of dry goods, dairy, fresh fruit, sodas, snacks, cigs and lottery. You can actually manage a family menu without going anywhere else.”
“Employees are kind and very helpful. There's at least a small selection of just about anything you might need. Fresh bakery items are delicious, as well as fresh deli items. One of my favorites is the ranch veggie pizza. Only complaint is that some items are a bit more expensive than at other places.”

They ALWAYS open the door when they see me coming in and always open it when I leave. Great employees. Corporate office needs to know how lucky they are for these workers in Emlenton's store.”

“Very convenient for anyone living in or traveling through Petrolia. It's true that their prices are a little high but I've never had an issue with credit cards not being accepted or gas pumps not working... things that happen in other small towns.”
