They are honest and easy to work with. The owner/head mechanic had a chance to take advantage with my car repairs if he wished, but he luckily chose not to (the opposite of which, as you know ladies, is unfortunately very common).
I called with a series of concerns about my 2009 Subaru Forester (148k miles), including her not starting at random, her engine over heating, and her timing belt heavily dry rotted.
My initial call was answered promptly and Sam, his service advisor, was very friendly and scheduled me the same evening to look my car.
The owner initially predicted the worst with the engine overheating, but I was happy and surprised when I received a call later that same day announcing me a lucky girl. He found the problem causing the overheating - a small rubber cap on the radiator had rotted. Only charged me $20 for his diagnosis time and the tiny part.
So of course I trusted him to do the timing belt for me, which he completed about a week later in a single day.
He's relaxed, informal, and easy to talk to.
If for some reason your phone call goes to voicemail, I recommend you text instead, as it's a small family run shop with only two part-time assistants.”
