“This place is genius!!! The gift that keeps on giving. It’s located on historic ground - Homestead. A steel mill along the Monongahela River where you can still watch quintessential barges sail upon it.The layout is quaint and efficient since you can cut across in various spots so you can get to all of it conveniently.Compelling eclectic entertainment, shopping and dining combined with the kind welcoming Pittsburgh folk. What’s not to love?!”

“A nice plaza at a major intersection in Bethel Park's suburban sprawl. Provides numerous businesses, gas, and serves as a junction between Broughton Road (and thus 885 and 51), and Route 88. A hot spot between South Hills, South Park, Bethel Park, and Mount Lebanon.”

My favorite places to go are Ross, Giant Eagle, Marshall's, 5 below, and Bath and Body Works. There's also a couple of decent shoe stores, and a plethora of good eateries to choose from.”

“This mall is full of extremely expensive stores. The least expensive places in here are Panera Bread (food) and Starbuck's (coffee.) It's a nice mall, just not really for "casual shopping," or low spending, in my opinion.”

“Decided to visit during the peak of holiday shopping season. The mall was packed, which was a good sign for its survival. Like Monroeville Mall, Pittsburgh City Proper doesn't really have a need for a mall but it fills a need in the more distant and car-dependent suburbs.Speaking of car-dependence: a major drawback of this mall is its incredibly confusing bus stop system. There was some construction in progress that made the outgoing bus stop much more difficult to find than it needed to be. The construction, like the foot traffic, is a good sign for the mall, but it was incredibly inconvenient for individuals who commute by bus rather than by car. Then again, the mall wasn't designed with the not-car-having population in mind. Some of the highlights: Psycho Bunny store. I dig the aesthetic and logo, but 100 USD for a polo shirt is a little bit questionable. The food court has a diverse selection that goes above and beyond, and is vastly superior to the one at Monroeville Mall. The Hot Topic store in this mall has an excellent selection of store-brand products that hearken back to the chain's heyday. There is a Journey's, but also a discount/outlet store selling similar products. The Nordstrom's Coffee Shop is a highlight. Some drawbacks: there is no movie theater or bookstore on-site at the mall, as opposed to the Monroeville Mall. There is a separate movie theater and a separate bookstore within driving distance on either side, but the lack of these services at the mall is a count against it. Worth a visit for your centralized holiday shopping needs, but if you want the full mall experience Monroeville does one better.”

“Station Square was a railroad station in the 1800s and was redeveloped into a mixed-use center in the 1970s. In recent years, many stores here went out of business. However, the area still has many excellent restaurants, recreational activities, business offices, a hotel, and a garage.Currently, restaurants include Buca di Beppo, Grand Concourse, Hard Rock Cafe, Homerun Harry’s, Joe’s Crab Shack, Kiki Japanese, Melting Pot, Terrene, Texas de Brazil, Tupelo Honey, Yinz Coffee, etc.Depending on the weather, recreational activities may include the Gateway Clipper, two incline planes, Segway, wall climbing, carriage rides, bike rides, boating, professional soccer, etcetera. My favorite businesses here are Texas de Brazil, Grand Concourse, Melting Pot, Joe’s Crab Shack, Gateway Clipper, and the Duquesne and Monongahela inclines.”

“North Hills Village is a strip mall that contains roughly a couple dozen businesses. I have been a customer at businesses here such as Target, Kohl’s, Best Buy, Kuhn’s Market, Taco Bell, Five Below, Ocean Treasures restaurant, and Premier Imaging and Camera. I easily find parking spaces for my vehicle. The location is convenient, and I have not noticed any problems with cleanliness or safety.”
